I called a couple services from yellow pages. The price was too much for my taste, for the info that I felt I could eventually get on my own. And that was basically where OW lived.

I got a price of $65 an hour. One told me that they prefer to have $500 deposit in which if they didn't use it all they would refund. That just sounded like a scam to me so I did not do.

I did some serious snooping myself with what little info I got and put the puzzle together. From various people that know WS. Each person gave me just a little something else. Once I got name I used a search service on internet for $50 and got a list of all the addresses she was at for many years.
Also did county court search with name and got info on her judgements and property tax and petition for divorce (yeah, she is divorcing her WH) You could get criminal record too . . . had that been that case.
The search service was worth it to me.

I also got her married name and started calling ALL the names in the book with that last name until I found the hubby. I did and was able to get more then I wanted to know info on her from him.

Hope some of this helps you. When I did it, I was a WS on a mission and as I said, I got more then I really needed to know.

Originally I wanted to know who she was and after it was all over I thought the information was more important that WH know as it showed her to be historically a gold-digger. I thought I had enough info that would make WH run from her. He didn't.
But I feel confident he is considering what I provided him . . . that she is a gold digger.
He is still "in love" so has to be hit in the head with the facts, I suppose.

Use the key word search in internet, you will get bunch. Price range from $60-100 /hr plus mileage and cell phone minutes. Some will cahrge adminitration fee, and tape fee if you need video tape. It really depends. When you shop around, ask all the detail, and the credential of the PI. Ask them whether they have insurance too. They usually don't tell you where the WS is about instantly to avoid any domestic conflict.

What information are you after? I needed to see if the OW was still calling my husband, and I found a service on the internet that offered cell phone records. In fact, I found SEVERAL such listings. I chose one that had a physical address listed, as well as a phone number (800 number) so that I could talk to a live person! They got the records for me in one day, and what I found out was that my husband was telling me the truth!!! SHE had called HIM one last time, but she told ME, the HE had called HER!!!!
It was well worth the $185 I had to spend! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />
