thanks phantom, it's actually not about him trying to talk me out of taking them, it's really about my battle w/what i want. i want him to bring them to me, i guess it's selfish. he doesn't care about the dogs and will be glad to be rid of them. again, it's that i want him to do something for me and the truth is that it isn't about what i want right now, if we did have or get what we wanted then many of us wouldn't be in the situations we are in.

I just wanted to take the time to wish you well and a safe trip too.Although I haven't posted to you much,I have read some of your posts.I honestly wouldn't ever leave my computer if I stayed to read everyone's responses.The turnover rate here seems to be getting faster and there's so many more hurting people coming on board too.There's only so much time you can devote to reading here although I would like to post to everyone.

Anyway,I hope you can get your dogs,they need you.I know I would never dream of letting my WH have my dog.She is a pampered pooch and I love her so I couldn't be without her.She has been there for me if only just to lend a doggie ear. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

P.S. I don't know why your WH is so set against you even talking to him especially about your relationship but maybe I will find that answer in some of your responses.Is he just wanting to avoid all confrontation so he can feel less guilty about what he is doing? Just curious.

octobergirl, thanks for the thoughts and prayers and insight. you are correct, i pretty much believe that my H is a huge conflict avoider, doesn't want to hurt anybody (granted all the hurt he has done and is still doing) but you know what i'm saying. he wants everyone to like him and SH agrees w/the above. but if SH says to avoid R or M talk then i think i should probably follow his advice so i try not to let the fact that my H doesn't want to talk about it get to me.

I just read dleightonc's post. He has some wonderful ideas. I hope that you take his advice into account and use some of his tactics. Some are pretty far fetched but this guy knows his stuff.

I got excited for you just reading some of the suggestions he had. Lucky you he's in FL too. Maybe he can give you some more insight into the D law in FL.
