Just wondering if anyone has any experience with NPD.....have read a lot about it and it's quite scarey!! My husband has a lot of the traits but so do my kids!...lol

Sorry fairly new here.....what are OT's??
I ask because every article I have read says that they will never change and your best defence is to run as far away as you can! I just don't see that as a solution when we exchanged vows and share children.

There are several people who I can think of have been on these boards with a NPD afflicted spouse. The stories are really pretty discouraging I'm very sad to say. Has your H been actually diagnosed as a narcissist? True narcissism is actually pretty rare but many people have those "tendencies". The actual disorder is a very scary prospect....tendencies offer some hope of behavior modification.
