As for wanting excitement... well what about us? we are here reading this, after all. Yes, we are.....BUT we DON'T have injured devestated spouses who have just been given earth shattering information that their world is AGAIN shattered by their trusted spouse. Can you tell the difference. Jen is more than intelligent to know what needs to be done here. Not one of us needs to tell her what she needs to do. this is THEIR site...We are guests...Should guests question what the owners of this site clearly ADVOCATE? Well, I don't necessarilly agree with this MSwondering.......AT ALL. That kind of thinking creates.."stepfords".."heretics".... I am a board certified surgeon with a fellowship in critical care and trauma, I have an assistant professorship at a very well respected academic institution....and I get questioned every day by residents, patients, nurses, families....and you know what.....? How big a boy are ya? I think a law school "tax" geek (I am NOT a shark) can take a med school geek anyday. Besides I did a little golden gloves back in the day. If we both leave right now and drive 70 mph, we can meet at say University of Denver by monday night. Then after 30 hours straight driving and a box of no-doz we outta have quite the little squable. Besides if you break my big greek nose I'll make you fix it (then I'll get a legal buddy to sue you for malpractice...MrsW's idea, but I know doctors find no humor in the word "malpractice".) KB, I don't think I'd ever had the guts.
Rob is sitting behind me on the couch right now and I'm relaying everything back to him including the fact that some people think I'm enjoying the drama. I can't believe anyone could even think that.
In an hour we both have to pretend that everything is just fine when my SIL and BIL and mother come for dinner. We are just not prepared to share anything with anyone right now.

Jen, I will admit that I was one of the people that believed this. I came to that conclusion because I saw you on this site joking around with other MB'ers all the while you were betraying Rob. When mothers day rolled around and you talked about having a nice day... I was incredulous. It sounded as though you were not upset about this at all.... perhaps that was wrong to assume but to some, me included it came across that way. Hearing about your drinking and having you admit that you might never have found the courage to tell him makes me believe now that this was just your way of de-stressing. From a BS that used his 2 x 4's with abandon... I think Rob will do well in forgiving you and staying with you if you resolve all of the feelings that you have for this OP. Prayers to both of you.
