BTW, I answered "no" to the satisfied question. Not because of the frequency but bc W won't try anything new. Nada. Zip. Rien. (and yes I've been honest and we've discussed it)

I am a female who thinks a couple should have sex whenever they are together...i.e., if you are single and seeing one another, if you are not intimate, something, in my mind is not right. But I view sex as sharing and closeness, so maybe I am a nut.

Fascinating. Insightful. You mean men actually WANT sex???? I tried to have sex with my H every single night of our happy and no so happy marriage. I used to call him "Peter".....because I was "denied 3 times" (blasphemous (sp) I know...but come on). And no, I am not hideous, with three heads, or with some sort of foul order wafting off of me. Refreshing to know these facts, really, for me. You know I never thought this would happen but,
Before I turned 45 I wanted sex all the time, at least once a day. I thought that if there were no sex in heaven it couldn't be that great. Except for the 2 weeks my wife was on leave I haven't had sex for over a year. No sex does not seem to bother me much. It is the affection and closeness I miss so much. Having someone to share your life with seems so much more important to me now.

35% want sex 3 days a week;
22% want sex 4 days a week;
35% want sex 7 days a week.
SO: 90% of the men want sex more than 3 times a week.
35% have sex 0 times a week;
30% have sex 1 time per week;
9% have sex 2 times per week;
17% have sex 3 times per week.
74% of the men say they are sexually unsatisfied.

Interesting poll. Very frustrating too. I'm wanting it more now and WH is telling me he has lost interest.
BUT we have already made love more since the A came to daylight then we did all of last year.
So something is improving (and he says he has lost interest??)
Still I would like it more.

Fun fact FYI... If men really know their stuff, then they know that a woman can't really 'fake it' (at least an orgasm that is)! Why??? Because it has nothing to do with the increasing intesity and sound level of moans & groans. Did you know that the clitoris becomes swolen and kind of 'hard' when a woman has her orgasm!??? Yup!!! And he said "try, 5 times." And my H is 55 years old. H is a bookdealer and had a car full of art books that he'd bought that day. I said to him "You watch your movie, I'm going to take this upstairs." I hadn't even got my shoes off and he was up in the bedroom with me. LOL Jenny PS I've just read the post from Odyssey. Sorry, but "that" happens during arousal not just at orgasm. As far as I know....from personal experience you understand.... On another note, it appears the cicadas have worn themselves out over the past couple of weeks of non-stop sex in the tree tops. 'Course this bunch waited 17 years. Funny thing - only the males sing. Sounded like a happy chorus to me! Don't know for sure if they sang afterwards.
