Having been down this road, I recommend you not encourage nor discourage her from doing anything.
Leave them to their own devices. Don't deny them the opportunity to learn a life lesson, albeit a bit too late.
I like your term, "karmic symmetry." Very appropriate. Wish I had thought of it. Mind if I use it sometime??
I believe affairees getting married is the ultimate demonstration of their idiocy and hypocrisy.
Why get married when being married doesn't mean anything to them?
Just sit back and watch. Ought to be a good show. I've been watching a pretty good one. Can't decide yet if it's a comedy or a tragedy - but in the end will likely be both - including "karmic symmetry." [ June 04, 2004, 08:26 AM: Message edited by: worthatry ]

I love your condensed Plan B. Since we are asking for permission for quotes, may I "borrow" this one?

Not sure what game I am playing on the card table...and it is weird that I think of that, because it is not like my friends are a bunch of "rounders." Perhaps it is a friendly game of uno. Who knows? Maybe that seemed more appropriate than a movie theater in my field of flowers, or a restaurant, or a small, local pub. I'm telling you...my brain is a somewhat scary place. That "you can check out but you can never leave" lyric fits in really well for me and my "inner" world!
Dipi seems appropriate...fits in well with my insane theory.
