I haven't posted for awhile. Just been kind of lurking and reading posts. Things have been going somewhat better for me. For those who don't know my story. My husband is emotionally involved with a lady he met online. On Christmas day he told me everything. Seems they did things together but never had sex. I talked to her once on the phone. She didn't know he was married until the same time he told me what was going on. Of course that didn't stop her from still trying to pursue him.

He gave me the whole I love you but I am not in love with you spill and I don't love you like a husband should. That it isn't about her. That he thinks he might just want to be alone. I was so upset. I asked him to please think about it and give us a real chance without her involved.

He has told me lots of times that he is stopping contact but continues to give in and call her. Of course when he does stop she always has some problem that she emails him about that nobody can solve but him... Lately though I haven't said much about it to him. He is the kind of man that if he bug him about something to much he will do it just to spite you. So I figured I told him enough how much it hurts me that he calls her still. He hasn't seen her since Dec since she lives about 10 hours away.

The last 2/3 weeks he has come home earlier. Which I know either he is stopped talking to her or has really cut down on how much he has been talking to her. He has been more into doing things with me something I haven't seen in almost a year. He has also been making love to me more. Use to be I had to ask for it and usually got turned down. Saying he was to tired or some other excuse.

I just hope the I love you's come back. He will only tell me this if I say I love you then he will say I love you to. Or if he is ready to hang up on the phone. I miss him telling me. I know it takes time. I know I need to be more patient. I really want to ask him if things seem better to him or if he feels differently about me than he did in Dec. But I don't know if I should do this.

I am 3 months pregnant now and want him to be her for this baby as well as our 3 year old son. I just want my husband back. He seems like he is starting to come out of the fog. Can this be possible even though he might be still talking to her on the phone sometimes?? Like I said I know he hasn't seen her since Dec so this has probably helped things for me.

I am just rambling here. Guess just want to know if anyone gets the same feelings about the situation as me. Or if maybe I am just getting my hopes up to high...

Sounds like he may be coming out of the fog. Stick with us and we will help you through this. But he does need to have NC with OW.

SML,
It sound very positive. The contact may be diminishing, just remember that recovery does not really begin until the WS decides to and ends contact. Does your H always respond with ILY? Also, is the frequency of him saying it to you increasing? These are all good signs. If you see progress try your best to go with it and not LB by bringing up the A. emtional reconnection will take time, just keep reaching out in a confident way. The way that says I love you, but I can live without you if that is your choice. If you feel rejected, don't withdraw, but try to put a positive face on it and continue to reach out. My W is now doing the things that tell me she is reconnecting. It is up and down, but the trend is up.

Hang in there, it will get better,
Christ's Love

He always says I love you to if I say I love you. But there isn't anytimes lately that he just came out and said I love you without me saying anything.

It is a positive if he is responding. It takes time and consistancy on your part. Time and patience, Roman
