I'm very close to LB (that's Laguna Beach not Love Buster)

Where are you going? Luch at the Montage?

Are you from Ca? If so, what part?

Cwmac -

I live in San Diego but I am originally from Boston. Cape Cod has some of the best beaches - love windsurfing at Race Point in Provincetown . Much different than the beaches here in Cali. But Laguna Beach is amazing!!! The water is sooooo clean and blue and my DD (3 yrs old) loves that beach. So we'll go frolicking in the water and then window shop. What's your suggestion for a great lunch w/ a toddler??

Betrayed,
I haven't had a toddler in years. hmmmm.

The Beach House is probably a good choice for parents of toddlers.

Splashes at The Surf and Sand is a favorite spot but not good for little ones.

Stay away from Woody's.

Ohh, There's a Ruby's in South Laguna accross the street from the Montage. Do you know Ruby's? It's a 50's style diner similar to the one in San Diego, um Shoobey Doo's (can't remember the name)There are 50's vintage cars out front. That's the ticket.

Have a great day. I think the water is warm right now.

I mostly lurk, and I'm not part of the click; however, this is a fun thread.

I think I'm older than all of you. Born (1939) and raised in NYC/Long Island.

Spent many years in the service. Lived 24 years in California. Two of our children still live there. Daughter & family in Rancho Bernardo, and Son in Palm Springs. Another daughter returned to NYC, but after 9/11, moved to Montclair, NJ.

My wife and I now live in Missouri's capital city and love it here.

We also have a boomarang(sp?) son here with us, and another daughter in England with her family.

ML, I've been across TX on I10, I20, I30, & I40. Been stationed in San Antonio, San Angelo, Ft Bliss, and Fort Hood. I think we will stay in MO.

Pep, Thank you!

I think we used to get the same legal (and auto) advice. I hope to get one of their polo shirts some time.

Thanks to you also ML. I sometimes wish we in other parts of the country had as much state sprit as you folks in TX.

Some day, I'll figure out why I'm here on the MB website. When I do, I'll let you all know.
