I cringe when I see people slowing down to look at car accidents or crime scenes.

In many ways, MB has been a lifesaver for me. When husband's EA/OW made a recovery board I was a moderator on unsafe because of her spewing, I came here to cry and be comforted. Web sites that OW frequent and justify their predatory behaviors (even in legitimate recovery forums like the one I left) are tools of our enemy.

But I've been reading a verse in Revelation - about how Satan stands accusing us night and day before the throne of God, and found a recurrent theme with the writings of James about where we put our attention. (James Chapter 3 - where we offend in word, and what drives the word is the thought...)

Satan desires our misery. He feeds on our pain. He wins a personal victory in his fight against Jesus and The Father when we cave in to despair. So when I see someone curious about the train wreck on TOW's web site, my heart breaks, because Satan is about to obtain another feast on a broken heart all because of curiousity.

Please consider this before you share the link to TOW again. Hasn't Satan had enough of your broken heart? When will you fight back for the right to give your heart and mind to God rather than to this evil that has entered your life?

Good point! I admit I've been curious from time to time about what is written over at TOW, but have not gone because I knew it would just make me miserable or angry. I hadn't even thought as far as your point took it about Satan winning.

AMEN! After I heard some people saying the TOW site made them want to puke, I really knew I couldn't visit that site. I advise everyone else also not visit. We need to move foward here, and we won't be able to do it if we keep looking back.

Kayla -- I've always wondered about the TOW curiosity. I've wondered about the site itself.

Good people can wind up in an A; we all know that. But to build an identity and website around it is kind of strange. Kind of like building a website around how it's okay to beat your children, or be drunk at work. We can find ourselves in all kinds of strange situations -- but what kind of person wants to spend time justifying it?

It's a kind of fog in itself. Thrashing myself and feeling bad about other fantasies is an utter waste of time.

It's like getting upset because you were in someone else's dream.
