Hi Lisa,
How y'all doing tonight.

The rumor is true. I saw her name listed as a visitor about a week ago. Don't know if she's been back since.

You can find out who's logged in by going up to the line titled General Questions II recent visitors: #

Click on it and you'll see. Of course it says that they've visited within the past 60 min. so they may not be logged in at that particular minute. Plus some people probably leave and forget to log out.

CW, Lisa and I have now both heard from MrsX.

She's doing ok - just taking a break from the board for now.

thanks CW...how goes with you these days??

Jenny..I am worried about her. I haven't heard anything from her in a long time I emailed her last night and hopefully will have a response to read when I get home.

On the bright side, I have a day off tomorrow since the market exchange is closing for Reagan's funeral service!! Sad circumstances but I am looking forward to being off.

I sent her an e-mail last night as well.

She did forward on the one I sent to you. I tried sending another to you btw, it hasn't bounced back yet so here's hoping.

I think she just needs some space.

I REALLY hope you get offered the job. I was offered a job at the place I temped at yesterday. I have to go through the interview process etc but it was a really good place and the job looks good. I'm going back to do some more work there today, armed with my CV.

It is the answer. I found that working again in a completely different place surrounded by people I didn't know was very liberating. Like a whole new world was out there.

I havwn't been hanging around as much. Few posts here and there.

I'm getting worried that I'll never forgive my wife.

Just saw the movie, Troy. It was depressing watching Paris and Helen. Was wondering if my W was thinking of OM. Some of the lines spoken were brutal.

Helen said that every day she was married to Menaleus she wanted to walk into the sea to die until she met Paris.

Coming out of the theatre I had this thought that scared me... I was on my deathbed and I still wondered if my W had ever loved me or whether she stayed because she was afraid to be alone. She had only stayed because OM wouldn't leave his wifw. The coward! I wondered how many times over our later years she had thought of OM. Especially when she looks at the ocean. I had also turned into a bitter old man and as I died I told my W that I had had these thoughts.

Aha CW, the real story is that Helen was in love with Menelaus and Aphrodite cursed her so that she would fall in love with Paris and would start the Trojan war which is what the gods wanted.

When the horse came into Troy, the curse (fog LOL)lifted from Helen and she did her best to save the Greeks.

"bumpity bump"

CW, I was half way through my "Troy" post yesterday when my son came downstairs and told ME off for being on the internet because he was waiting for calls. Time he moved out.

Anyway, the point of my post was that the movie was a crock and not true to the Iliad which my D studied in great detail as she is a Classical Studies major.

Doesn't help though does it? The movie on TV right at this moment is Blue Skies. Sucks, doesn't it.

You also missed my "surfing" post but it was pretty boring anyway.
