There was a link in a post recently from a long time former ww - I think it linked to a post she had written on a different MB board. She took pieces of her journal entries from 3 months, 6 months, a year, more than a year etc... It outlined the recovery and withdrawl process in her situation very well. I was wanting to show it to a WW who is early in the withdrawl process but I can't find the link, and can't remember the poster! I looked through my entire MB history files and can't find it there either. HELLLLP!!! [ June 15, 2004, 07:41 AM: Message edited by: hope4future ]

I just remember reading it last week and thinking "I need to show that thread to such and such" - and now that I've mentioned it to such and such I can't FIND IT!
And yes - it made for good research too

Hi, didn't want to butt in but will anyway.
I just wanted to say, Hope, I hope you ARE writing your book. I have a feeling it will be wonderful.
And, Susan, you came on to our "Letting go of OM thread" and gave me such hope. I can't remember the name of the other FWW (darn it) but I wanted to say thanks to her as well. I just couldn't believe that what you were saying could one day be true for me.
It seems like a million years ago that I came here and it's really only been a few months.

If, in fact, no other book exists that covers what it is I have outlined so far - there will be! I'm still researching and I just ordered a plethera of other books that supposedly touch on it. If they cover what I'm looking for, then it stops there. If not - well then HERE WE GOOOOO!
I've got a whole list of neat possible titles. Anyone know where one could search to see if they've already been used? I've done amazon and the web, but that only means there's nothing current out there. Maybe a library??

Well, I'd consider anything - once.
I worry that it might not really reach the entire audience I'm intending to reach?? Maybe I'm just being too cynical?

A title quite UNLIKE: "After the Cruel, Selfish, Disgusting Affair You Had with the Monster of an OP" might be in order, particularly if you're trying 2 intice the WS 2 read beyond the cover...
Obviously, the A books aren't this bad.
...how about:
"Finding Yourself As a Spouse After 'Finding Yourself' By Having an Affair"
Ew, yecch. I don't think I like that one either.
How bout: "The Bridges of Madison County" some other innocent-sounding title. After all, I would think that a book about covered bridges in the upper midwest would be pic2resque and peaceful?
"A funny thing happened on the way 2 the 4um" has already been taken, though. Sounds like an MBer stepping on a banana peel on the way 2 their computer in the morning...
don't mind me... I lost it a long time ago... -ol' 2long

Hope4,
Is this book to be a best seller or is it to actually inform or help people?
I'm thinkin if it is to be a best seller, you could go for "The Women of MB".
If you are going for information, then something more serious is necessary, and that of course means I have no suggestions. But "If Susan rules Pep drools" does have a ring to it.
By the way, I suspect all titles like the books themselves are copyrighted, so you could check there.

Well, the nice thing about that title is that there's hardly ANY chance it's been taken - but I'll sure check!! LOL!!
Best seller?? Oh shoot, what do I care?? I just thought maybe if there were something written SPECIFICALLY FOR the WS - there MIGHT be a better chance of planting some seeds - but then it could also just end up in the bottom of the birdcage along with everything else
If for no other reason than to just compile and clarify my own thoughts - I'm working on it. But if no other book covers it - well heck, why not try??

You were right on the money, JL!! I can search for Copyrights online and even register any titles right there! Too cool!! Thanks for the tip!

Maybe we should pool our resources and write companion books? Mine will be for BSs in the early stages of affairs - a time, I believe, not covered well in existing books - and continuing affairs of the alien abduction variety.
So, if yours covers the WS perspective...........

Nah,
"Pep drools on Genius'" might work better.
Or in a more subtle rephrase "Pep dissolves Genius".
OR Hope4 you could go for "Pep: tough love, good advice." Which is better than "Pep beats the tar our of...".
OR, you could go for the ever popular "IT's WAT'S FAULT."
OR "WAT knows WHAT, and Pep says so." OR "WAT doesn't know spit, and Pep SAYS SO."
OR...
This could really be good, designing Hope4's book. Hope4 I think you could really do a very good book.

Don't Pee On My Shoes And Tell Me It's Raining"
