I have a technical question and I hope that someone here might be able to answer this. My husband recently emailed me some pictures and I have the Windows Picture and Fax Viewer installed on my work computer. I looked at the pics and then I clicked on a forward button and the strangest thing happened because I was able to look at all of the pictures that are stored on his computer. I was really surprised at this and I wonder how this can happen?

None of the pics were surprising, but I did find three pictures of three different girls which seem to be young women (early 20's) from Easter Europe. My husband was stationed there for a while about two years ago and I suppose that these are women that he met there.

If anybody could give me some insight on this computer program, I would really appreciate it.

The more recent versions of Windows have a directory where you can store your pictures. It keeps them from getting mixed up with all the other files you store on your computer. Neat, organized.

You don't *have* to save pictures to that directory, but if you don't specifically save them somewhere else, that's where they get saved. Windows Picture and Fax Viewer knows this.

When you opt to forward a picture via email, the program you're running simply opens a view to the pictures directory, pretty much asking you "Okay, these are your pics, which do you want to forward?"
