My WW asked me the strangest question. She wants to know how I feel spending time with her and our children. She wonders if I get the “distorted” view that we are a family, when in her opinion, we are not. She wants my help in getting her medical practice started, goes on family outings with me, watches our favorite shows with me, but thinks I’m distorting. She is the one who wants a D so she can 'experience' her long distance lover more fully.

She also wanted to know how I felt physically and emotionally. She said that friends say I look fragile. What do you think this means?

Who knows what she means? But I have seen many WS's here say the same thing. Spiderslayers WH went to MC solely to end the marriage. He kept insisting that he didn't want to give her false hope.

Now they are reconciled. So stick with us, and stay in Plan A.

Your WW is involved with someone else so she feels disconnected from her family - you and her children.

She's wondering if you still feel connected or if you also feel the disconnect.

This is a trick question. If you feel connected to the family then you are unbelievably dense and there's no way she can be M to a man so unobservant. If you feel a disconnect as she does, then it's proof that the M is a sham and should terminate.

I'd address this "question" by validating her feelings that something is missing which could make the family feel whole again for her, and offer to work with her on identifying the cause(s) and POJA a solution.

Of course the cause is OM and the solution is to get rid of him, but this approach (working with her) is the only way you can answer her question.
