You did check your computer rights first, didn't you??? Don't get into the same mess as Kiwi.
The new job must not affect MB posting.
Congrats to you. kisses and hugs

jelly...it has been hell having to work with OM over the last year since A ended. It's kind of hard to establish complete NC having to see him everyday and to sometimes have to communicate with him even if it is work related.

Susan...I'm so excited!!!! Very nervous too! I dread telling my branch manager. I don't mean to sound arrogant but he is going to take it very hard.

Lisa,
Nice going! YOU did it. So happy for you...both.
Always nice to see the power of prayer manifested. I didn't forget ya.
What a Great time for you!! This can truly be a Fresh start, both professionally, but even more so personally.
I know My wife's new job (& new location) sure was a life saver for me, as well as her. This can help on so many different levels...........you SHOULD be excited.
How is your H reacting to the news? Hope he is as enthused as you ARE!
Previously you had some reservations about the salary. Apparently, problem solved. Did they meet or exceed your old salary? Just curious about the details since you as the poster brought it up.
Again, congrats! Take some time to just kick back and enjoy the "Good" feelings.
Knock em dead! (But then I guess you already DID). Later

top rope...thx for the vote of confidence!! I think this job is a great opportunity for me personally and professionally. The brokers that I'm going to be working for are actually supplementing my salary to pay me what I need to make the move. They told me today that they plan to also pay me a percantage of commissions if I become registered I am really excited but do so dread telling my manager. He has been wonderful to work for and has supported me on many different levels.

another plus is getting away from this office where everyone knows about the A with my OM. This will truly be a fresh start

Lisa,
I agree: It is hard to disappoint those whom we respect and like. Especially if they've stood by us during the hard times.
Unfortunately, that is just one more terrible legacy of A's. They impact on the lives of so many more persons then the 2 who are in the A ever consider.
Hopefully this is the last person who'll be negatively effected by it.
But do not doubt that this is the best choice (although not an easy one by any stretch).
So only good days from now on........that's the first order from your new job.
Thanks for answering.
Oh yea, what about Hubby's reaction?? Or doesn't he know yet?

Lisa, wonderful, wonderful news.
You won't believe the difference it will make having a fresh start.
As soon as I got away from my office, where everyone knew everything, where there was a chance OM could show up at anytime, it was soooooo liberating.

Lisa this may interest you.
I was a very regular churchgoer in my teens and was confirmed a christian at about 16.
Over the years I've held on to my beliefs but never "lived" them.
Lately, I've been handing everything over to God and it's working.
Last night I said another prayer. "My marriage is in Your hands." I then said another little one for you.
When I read your post this morning I was quite taken aback.
Jenny
BTW I'm not saying it was my little prayer that did it. [ June 23, 2004, 03:29 PM: Message edited by: KiwiJ ]

Lisa, this is excellent.
By the way, I prayed too. You all can think what you want.
