Haven't been around as often as in the past. Sooo, hello to all the cyber helpers and friends. BTW, thanks to all of those who gave me positive feedback on the "Have I helped..." thread. KiwiJ, Lisa103, MrsX, Knewbetter, Anyname,RecoveringH. Hello to my new friend Hopeforthefuture, too.

Give a quick update everybody....

OK I'll go first.

Wife and I are doing better. We worked thru the "time at MB" issue. All in all things are good. Still the occassional miscommunication that will cause a bit of heartburn.

Communication is improving. The wife even called the IC for an appointment to work on her a bit. That helps a ton bc I feel as though she's trying to change instead of requiring me to do all the work and changing.

Whose up next?

BTW did you see I got a job at the university. Assistant to the Professor which is verrry cool. Can't say which department (well its Arts) but can't define EXACTLY which department. I'm pretty traceable already with my picture, birthdate, city etc - I don't need to make myself COMPLETELY traceable.

You do know the remark about the harem was a joke don't you. AND you left the Geography of NZ course half way through the semester. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

I can't WAIT to work at the university. I'll be involved in orientation and graduation and everything. It will be so cool.

Something you can sink your energy into. My W has talked about getting a part time job for a few years but never seems to follow up on it. If she'd had the job maybe... Never mind.

The reference in the post title was my own tongue in cheek reference to something that had been said to me on the "Have I helped..." thread. Something to do with I just come here to converse with my clique/groupies ie FWW GFs, whatever.

Gee,I wish I could be as funny as you guys! Hope, you crack me up! Congrats Jen on the job, it sounds great, right up your alley.

Summer's here so that means beach, beach, beach! My hugest problem this summer will hopefully be how to avoid getting TOO tan! I love my life again, no drama, no feeling like each day is going to bring some new painful disscussion. We are both doing great.

Well, this groupie's got to sign off. H will be home in minute and I'd better think about dinner for him. I had lunch with my old office lunchgroup today and they gave me HEAPS (kiwi or US expression?) about my new job.

Said I'd be turning into a pinko radical before I knew it.

"gave me heaps" obviously means they teased me mercilessly but when I thought about what the expression means I couldn't even think. I mean, heaps of what...?
