I know many of you are hurting bad these days and my heart goes out to you.

When Plan A or B don't seem to be working- go to plan G:

Turn it over to God.

I think ultimately our spouses behavior is a symptom of their spiritual condition, and not until that has been dealt with, will our relationships be truly healed.

The good news is that God knows exactly what is going on with them, He knows precisely what to do to reach them, and he is able to do it, no matter how bad things look to us, or how hopeless.

He has a Plan.

Shul,

</font><blockquote><font size="1" face="Verdana, Arial">quote:</font><hr /><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial"> He has a Plan.
</font><hr /></blockquote><font size="2" face="Verdana, Arial">He does.
And I know this because He loves me. I know He hears my every prayer.

I know when I commit everything to him, I should wait. He will reveal his Plan in His time. Often time, we worry, fuss and fret because we are expecting things to happen in OUR time. I get angry and impatient when things don't happen in MY time, the way I want it. Sigh.

All we have to do is to trust Him and continue to learn His word, His ways and live it the best we can. He will send His helpers, and we will see His Plan. Here's something I want to share with you:

... thou shall weep no more: He will be very gracious unto thee at the voice of thy cry; when He shall hear it, He will answer thee. And though the Lord give you the bread of adversity, and the water of affliction, yet shall not thy teachers be removed into a corner any more, but thine eyes shall see thy teachers: And thine ears shall hear a word behind thee saying, This is the way, walk ye in it, when ye turn to the right hand, and when ye turn to the left. Isaiah 30:19-21

All we have to do is to have Him very, very close to our hearts to know His plan. He loves each one and everyone of His sheep, Shul. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

believer,

I enjoy reading your posts. You kind and strong and have lots of love for everyone and plenty of wisdom. I am humbled when I read posts like yours and Shul's. Are you a believer of the Christian faith? I know we are all here to help each other with our learnings, I see so much pain and hurt on this board. But really, including Plan G is inevitable in our lives!!

May I share what I have gone through the past three weeks?
Three or four weeks ago, I decided to call it quits with my M. I am tired, and I want a divorce so that I can release this emotional mess. At the same time, I know I haven't tried my best at being a Christian wife. I am still quick to anger, one of my greatest weakness. That day when I cried for a divorce, I felt I have disappointed God. Even though my heart wants a divorce, I did not dare to tell Him. I wanted to run away from Him. That same night, I went for bible class and the elder spoke about 'self condemnation'. Oh ho, I might not have listened to the elder, but I sure darn know that was Him talking to me.

Anyway. I didn't want to be far from God. If I cannot please Him and walk in His way, the least I could do is be quiet and wait in His presence. I continued reading the bible, mainly because I attend two bible studies, one in James and another in Samuel and Kings.

Each time I attend class, the Lord spoke to me:

James 1:19 Wherefore my beloved bethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath

James 1:22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves

There are also many lessons in the lives of David and Solomon. David wanted to build a temple for God, but God said no, Solomon will built it.

Don't I want so many things for my marriage? Yes. And I struggle with it. I realise I am carrying a different burden.. not the same as H's. We do not share the same load, that is why I am struggling so much, that is why I am so unhappy. Maybe this is His will. My H has committed adultery in many forms. I commit my M and my H to Him, I should stop beating myself up and just let Him work his Plan.

And the Lord always sends His helpers and His Plan. My attention is focused else where now. A wonderful thing happened last week.

I received offer for a new job.
It is a position that reports to the president of a multinational, one of the three largest financial conglomerates worldwide. It has a medium sized operation in my country. I know this job offer is in His plan. Why? I was given a test at the interview. It is not some mumbo jumbo psycho test that many companies give for godknowswhatreasons. I was tested for my understanding of the industry and my creativity. No probs there.

Secondly, I met the president at three pm, we chatted for about twenty minutes. I showed him a portfolio of my current work and yup, him and I had the same views on the scope of work for this position. At six thirty the same day, I got a call to say that I am employed. Everything fell into place so neatly, it is almost unbelievable.

Thirdly, another church member works in that organization. There are only around eighty members in my church. One of the deacons work at my current office. I felt sure this is one of God's way of sending his people to look after me.

The job offer has lifted my financial worries a little, now that H no longer contributes $$ to the house. I am still not sure if God wants me to leave H. But I will take things one day at a time and do the best I can at whatever that is expected of me. I refuse to cast so much time worring about my M. I'd rather spend that time being with the Lord. I stopped the tranquilizers and I am back to the same ol schedule of sleeping and awaking at the same time.

I am so happy and thankful that He loves me. I would take His blessings any day than treading back into an unsure M on my own. I need Him with me. In our M in the past, H did not want Him. I don't want to go back into the M without Him. Sometimes, I forget, but there are always people around me to remind me.

So, ask God. Plan G, and thou shalt receive!

(Yikes! this post turned out to be longer than I expected, sorry)
