Well, I'm about 3.5 hours away from Omaha - but you might still be able to see the glow from there!! LOL!!

Artillary shells are my favorite! But there's a new one this year with 300 missles that shoot off in under a minute - it's pretty awesome! Got a demonstration the other night! Darn kids anyway (meaning, of course, us adults!!).

Have a great 4th and don't blow anything you might need later - off! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

3.5 hours away!? Geez, according to my maps, thats right smack dab in the middle of freakin' nowhere!

As far as blowing up something I might need, I think I came close the other night. One of the shells blew up the launcher and sat on my lawn till it exploded. I'm glad the kids were far enough away and I watered for about an hour before we started just in case. I thought it was really cool but my wife wasn't exactly pleased.

Anyway, have fun in BFE blowing stuff up.

ROTFLMAO!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> My husband shares your wifes displeasure of great amusement of pyromania. Last year I got blamed for all the cows getting out. I'm SURE the fence had something to do with it - yea, that's my story and I'm sticking to it! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

Middle of nowhere?? That would be my backyard!! Tell me you've heard of the big Windmill Festival or Comstock Rock....that would be RIGHT in my back yard (6 miles away).

Well, I can honestly say I've never been to Comstock. I've had the misfortune of driving across this great state on many occasions, but very rarely have I ventured north of i-80 that far west.

P.S. I come from a long line of ranchers but luckily I was adopted so it was easy to escape. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

I'm in so much trouble when I get home <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> The cows are going to be up in YOUR area when I get done! LOL! STAMPEDE!!
