Husband has moved out of her place and to another town, for work.

I think he is breaking it off with her, but I don't know for sure. I want to ask hm , but I think I will let him decide if he wants to talk about it.

He is coming here tonight, to fix something, and I am nervous. We haven't spent much time together in the past few weeks, just messages and short calls. this morning he texted me saying,

"Good morning beautiful - I will see you later!!!"

I am trying to be positive. He didn't have to put it like that. He tells me he loves me. he doesn't have to.

Usually when he is doing something wrong he doesn't call or come around.

I hope I don't LB,

I will not LB

I will not LB

I will not LB...

just breathe and stop and think about what you're doing . Maybe he's a little nervous too .Don't think he has the upper hand -Think about how great you are and how many men would be soooo lucky to have a woman like you .Start thinking about the good times and if something bad pops in your head, see the word STOP
Good luck

Hi Shul.

I don't post here a lot - I usually stay on the pg board, but I JUST today posted a tip I use to keep from LBing. Maybe it'll help:

quote:
Oh, and I've got a totally wicked trick I do on dh now - that WORKS - it was so hard at first, but instead of my knee jerk lbing, I'd ask a question of him that made him feel like he was "helping" me. Like instead of asking who could've been making those calls ('cause you and I both know who WE think are making those calls), tell him that the calls have been inconveniencing you, and does he know if it's possible to put a call block on a pay phone number. See? You're not blaming him per sey, and he FEELS like he might be able to help you solve this issue. Men LOVE to solve things. It's hardwired in.

Don't know if you can twist it to fit your sitch, but thought I'd post just in case you could use it.

Weaver, thanks ! I found it and I will do it.

Very wise.

KHB5,

Yes, you are right. He might be nervous. I will be the calm one, very tranquil.

I will treat him like a mistress would treat her lover, soothing, quiet.

I will let everything else go for tonight, and just be gracious. I will allure him.

NIOs,
quote:
Men LOVE to solve things...

Yes, I need to present him with a problem that requires his insight. He has amazing insight. But what can I use?

Well I could tell him that someone has been hitting on me (true) and ask him how to let this friend down gracefully, lol.

(All day the song was stuck in my head- 'There must be 50 ways to leave your lover'...thinking in terms of his dilemna)

Shul

Ok, he is here.

He is acting weird, quiet, sort of cold- then a few minutes later he kissed me and hugged me.I responded.

I can't read him.

I have said nothing, except fed him and asked about his job a bit.

He is off fixing things at the moment.

I need prayer!

You've got it, Shul. Throw one my way if you get a chance, too. Thanks a million,

Be empathy. Be compassion. Be the giver.

He is off fixing a broken pipe.

If I could have one wish right now it would be that I could read his mind.

I think khb5 is right , that he is nervous. I hope its a good nervous, not a guilty nervous. I suspecg the ow has been putting a guilt trip on him and he doesn't know how to break up without hurting her feelings.

One thing- he asked me about the neighbour who has been sniffng around, if I have seen him. I said I will tell him later.
This is the one I mentioned earlier who is hitting on me. But he is not even remotely going to get anywhere with me, and I have been dissing him
