Hi. Thought this would be fun. Everyone has such clever screen names. So what's the story?
=========================================
NCWalker. NC is for "No Chance" because even when there is no chance I feel I can walk it out with God. Drives me NUTS though because when I first logged on I did not know about No Contact = NC so whenever someone abbreviates my screen name as NC instead of NCW it gets confusing. Also, I have found that "walk it out" is a colloquialism (sp?) in the region I am from.

I have two screen names...but PlayedAfool I am using so I wont be spotted by prying eyes!

I chose PlayedAfool because I was just that...played a fool THREE times <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> My other screen name is pretty obvious! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Mine is after one of son's favorite songs, Melody Lane, by the Beatles.

My first name is Ethan.

Do the math on that & my screen name, and you can probably figure out my last name.

And....

A. That's not me.
B. I don't know what my parents were thinking.
C. You are not the first person to ask me that.
D. No, I'm not named after the store. I'm named after the American Revolution hero.

Thanks for hitting my sore spot! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

Ethan

My original name was CoolDuck - my DD first two words that she put together. She said it so cutely with a little dance.
The one I am using so H doesn't know me is J for his name M for mine and we are lost

PAF, I'd forgotten you'd changed to that name - if you are who I think you are - gosh, now I'm confused. LOL. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Mel, I too have heard you say you named yourself after the Beatles' song and I didn't know whether I should tell you it is really Penny Lane - see I'm too polite and a conflict avoider etc etc LOL

Mine's pretty obvious - well it is to anyone who knows Kiwi's come from New Zealand and they're not fuzzy little fruits but little brown flightless birds. Why a whole nation would call themselves after little brown flightless birds is beyond me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" />

I'm the husband, at the time, I thought we were starting recovery, hence the name. Really deep, huh? Yeah, and we weren't as far along as I thought, but we're working on it.

To all you 'oldtimers' out there, thanks for your help!

Hi all! Pretty odd that this would be my first post!! I am a new member (obviously). Wanted to first tell NCW and RAP that I'm praying for you both, and wish you the best! NCW - you "sound" so much like my dad, it's almost uncanny! If you are anything like him, you guys will succeed - the man had the iron will of a million miles of barbed wire fence! (Yah, pretty weird analogy, I know!) Anyhow, best of luck to you both.

As for the name - it was my handle in my truck driving days...ie: "yellowline" for always being in the "hammer" lane.

This is a good thread to start again. There was another months ago on JFO? I saw that was pages long with the same idea.

Mine is very simple. The month in which my world came crashing down(which is also,or was my favorite month) and that I am a girl/woman.That is all I could think of at the time since I was in such agony from the Infidelity discovery.ugh.

I guess mine is obvious...after the show Fraggle Rock.

Has been my nickname since I was 15. One of my goofy friends was watching the show with his little sis and when he came out later that night, I was the 1st person he saw and he called me Fraggles. It stuck and the rest if history.

Frags for short.

Oh, and my kids are my Fragments <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Though dday was in June, I didn't discover MB until the cold months set in here in the northern U.S. My heart felt cold and dead, like the "Snow" that was coming. Added the belle so folks would know I was a "she." Somebody told me that's a cat's name (and I disike cats). Ah, well. I'm just signing my posts "Snow" now.

Horizon – Is a limit of scope. You never know what’s beyond it and I was trying to be hopeful about what I may find if I could see that far in the distance. Still wishing I could!
