Let's check this out. (Hope no one actually has "me" as a handle. If so, sorry!

Everyone else continue on with whatever it was you were doing.

Good morning right back at you!

Everything is OK here at the moment.
Just have a Birthday party to prepare for tomorrow. You know the drill, family and in-laws. (Oh, brother).

These times are stressful for me:
1). Because that's just my personality.
And
2). Because I can DEAL with all the feelings about W, the A and the M...when we are alone.....but having to "put on the happy face" in front of everyone ..just in a word.. SUCKS.
Some of the guests Know and some don't. Some know more and some know less.
So it is just very stressful for me at these times. I can't wait for it all to be Over all ready.

In addition, as we live much farther away now, my BIL and his family "invited" themselves to stay the night.
Well, alllllllriiiightyyyy then!

In any case, I'm flattered that you actually read this one. (just kidding, just kidding)

As you can see I added a little bio at the end. That was what this thread was for..to see if it came out right. (I hate how few characters they let you use..only 250)
My first one had about 550 . But from me, I guess that's to be expected.
But nothing compared too what I wrote out for you.

Thanks for checking in. I still have a couple of questions of yours to answer, but as we seem to both be busy on the weekends, that looks like a task for next week.
Till then, Take care of yourself.

Its also great to see you posting to the others out there, especially the newbies. Shows that you are able to stop focusing All your attention on your own problems.
To me that is a sign of progress. So good going. But that's for another discussion.

Till next time

Ah ha Top - you had to get a dig in on me for missing your other thread. I do feel terrible about that you know.

My weekends are packed with kid stuff so I rarely get on line. I work from home so I spend my entire days sitting at this desk...when the weekend comes I try not to come into my office...I do not even vaccum in here on my cleaning days...just can't take it!

I have a birthday party to plan as well. My H's 30th bday is tomorrow. We aren't doing anything big...just us and the kids. I am baking him a cake! I do not bake often...probably because I stink at it but I'm giving it a shot today.

I do feel your pain about the IL's. Mine were here last weekend and the stress was killing me. It's like they wouldn't eat unless I cooked and one night I cooked and they brought home steaks...knowing I was cooking! UGH! Talk about rude and insulting.

I won't go there but I will say I know how you feel.

I too had trouble being around people after D-day. I couldn't stand to look at others being happy when I was so sad. We visited my grandparent a few weeks ago and all of my relatives were there...mind you I have about 20 cousins and 14 aunts and uncles...throw my sweet Granny and crazy Pa in the mix and you've got yourself a 'ho-down'. It felt weird being there with my H. I know one of my Aunts knows what's going on...she could hardly look at me without crying. That was a tough one.

So I'm wishing you luck with your family this weekend and the party. I'm sure you will not have time to relax and enjoy yourself so I won't even bother to say that.

My best advice there would be to pick up a good book and pretend to engross yourself until they all leave then eat your weight in cake!!!
