I was at walmart tonight shopping and I noticed this guy that I have seen in church. He knows nothing about me or my situation. He says I know what you are going through. I went through a bad divorce years ago. God told me to pray for you. I know it is hard to love someone as much as you do and they want nothing to do with you. I know you love her with all your heart. You are hurting more than she is. If you need someone to talk to call me. I am not trying to get in your business but just want to be your friend if you need to talk to someone. He said that God knows you are hurting. I said how long have you been praying for me he said a while, God laid you on my heart and put a picture of you in my head. He said I loved a woman once with all my heart and was broken.I know what it is like to love someone that much. This man got out of his scooter and prayed for me out loud next to the meat freezer 9 oclock at night in the middle of Walmart. Absolutely Incredible. God truly knows our pain.

Wow.

I know I have not been in my situation as long as some of the posters here, but I have been praying for the strength to continue my fight to save my marriage or the wisdom to know when to call it over. I have sort of been more at peace. Granted I still have my frustrations and everyday she moves further away, but being closer to God has really helped me through the last month.

Surely God does not want us to suffer, but He did give everyone the gift to make their own choices, good or bad. And this is truely a great gift even if sometimes we make the wrong choice. So keep praying and don't lose your faith, even it it isn't going well at times.

I know that I will be okay, even if eventually I am a single person again.
