You will be pleased to know that in the interests of decency and good taste I will not be replying to NCWalker's reply to BV on the JL Again thread.

Please picture KiwiJ as Bart Simpson writing on the blackboard.

Mac & Jelly. Ho ho ho.

Hey, Jelly, you mentioned the 5 second rule. Here that means if something edible falls on the floor and it's only touched the ground for 5 seconds it's still safe to eat.

Does it mean exactly the same in the US? I'll be darned - I thought it was a NZ expression.

I am not going to reply to NCW - my little typing fingers are itching - but I am not going to reply to NCW.

He is amazing and so's Pam - they are such a cool couple I can't wait for them to sort it all out.

Well Jenny, you just keep giving me more work. Now I have to go read that thread even though I haven't looked once, up until now.

And yes, I know I'm neither Mac nor Jelly...

so just call me "nosey"

He he he it's already Saturday morning here.

Going back to the 5 second rule - yes I know I'm pathetic and have nothing better to talk about - I actually thought it was made up by a guy in our office when he was being funny (ha ha) in our lunchroom one day.

Weaver, you probably don't know but I was almost sent from the board for soft porn and it got me a bit of a "reputation".

Cuz I know your known for that.

Eeeek - I'm known for that!!!!!! My reputation is well and truly shot!

We were posting at the same time, Weaver. It's darn good advice in my book.

KiwiJ,

Thought I smelled fish here. I still have 5 left since I belted CHackler with one of 'em on the "Need to figure myself out..." thread.

Post away, post away, post away!

KiwiJ and KY4,

Thank you for the compliments. It is strange how we see giftings in each other. I don't think I am doing anything that grand except for letting the Spirit do his thing. But I think your Jelly bantering is good fun. I know RAP is now a "Jelly Thread Addict" if there can be such a thing.

She and I ARE an awesome couple. She gets all the compliments, though. We are kind of suffering from the nice looking hottie and geeky guy syndrome.

When people I know finally meet my wife, I invariably get told one of three things:

1-How did a guy like you get a girl like that?
2-Figured your wife would be beautiful, but I had no idea she would be smart, too.
3-Figured your wife would be smart, but I had no idea she would be beautiful, too.

Again. I do appreciate the kind words. I write as much to straighten myself out as anything and it is nice to know when you are a blessing to someone.

Now if I could only figure out how to put all that to practice....

One shy of a half dozen fish and still intimidating,

NCWalker

NCW, it's true you write so well and it's all such good stuff, Pam is so straight and warm. I often get a picture of you both doing something together to help others when you are through this. "Strength" is always a feeling that comes to mind.

I'm still not going to reply to your post. Suffice to say that the "uninhibited wife" describes me and I think enough people on here know that already and I don't want to even GO there in a discussion.

See, guys, the restraint, the restraint, it's overwhelming isn't it?

KiwiJ,

Thanks for the vote of confidence. I love the way you can look to the future for us.(for me)

I am going to get it eventually!

Hmmmm, should I look up the old stuff you have posted?

Sounds interesting.

Pam, most of it was edited out by me after the ruckus (sp) it caused.

Seriously, if you do want to look up an old post of mine and you could probably find it with the search function (gee the computer geek will know how to do it I posted one called "H told OM's W". It was on the GQ board around April. It may give you a glimpse of where I was at too.

Edited to add: I've just found it and read it myself. Gosh, was that me??????
