As some of you already know I got served today. My WH went and filed for a Las Vegas Divorce. I have 20 days to contest or countersue. We live in NJ.

He must of hired a slimy laywer because he didn't live in Las Vegas for the entire six weeks.

Tomorrow I will try to find an attorney.

I just couldn't believe how sneaky my WH was about this? We agreed earlier we would not make any major decisions without contacting each other.

The summons contained a letter. In the letter my WH blamed me for everything. He didn't take any responsibility for the break down of the marriage. Didn't want to hurt me anymore than he already has.

He said he didn't sit down and discuss this with me because he was afraid I would commit suicide or cause myself bodily harm. He said he decided for the both of us that a divorce would be best. Four months apart-didn't give us much time. Does this decision have anything to do with the OW divorce a couple weeks ago.

Coward...Didn't have the nerve to tell me face to face, or even by phone.

I want to save my marriage, right now it looks hopeless.

I want to contact him so bad, I will wait to talk to attorney first.

WH is just a puppet with the OW pulling at the strings.

Why the rush, especially from someone who said he will never get married again.

I just pray that the OW isn't pregnant.
