Well, after 4 weeks after D-day, H is finally leaving job today or he says he is giving notice. His job is where he met OW and still sees her and OWH due to it being a resort they are members.

He called me and read the letter to me, and asked if it sounded ok. i said yes, and told him I was sorry it had to come to this.

He said we will talk tonight. I am really scared he is going to tell me that he is leaving town. He is not staying with me and has chosen not to since D-Day. He says he is not sure if it will ever be the same, etc.. He does not have another job, so I am not sure what he will do, maybe go to parents and live for free so he can get a job, to pay bills.

I am willing to work things out, he is ashamed, and knows that once he resigns that everyone out there who knows him and me will know and they will lose respect. I am friends with many people out there as well. It is a weird situation

I mentioned that maybe we could start over somewhere new. I am not sure what he wants, he is not giving me any good vibes that he wants to work it out.

H did turn in his resignation letter last night. He now says he will finish out his two weeks and probably move 6 hours away to his parents to "figure out" what he wants. I told him the best thing to do would be to stay in town with me and try to work through this.

I think the work thing has him very ashamed and he knows it will be tough to face those people from his work, as I see them often in social settings, etc. I still do not know what I am going to say. I do not know if all of those people need to know exactly what happened or not.

I am not sure if he going home is the answer. I think it would be good for him to get 6 hours away from OW, but still that is also 6 hours away from me. He says he needs to make sure he can be the husband I need him to be and make sure he is committed to this marriage. He says he loves me and misses me and "has not given up on us". The whole thing is just scary. I am afraid he will get there and just kind of fade away. The one good thing is that his mother is very much wanting us back together, so hopefully that will help.

I know that I need to back off and let him miss me and make the decisions, after me not talking to him, etc. and see what happens, but I feel that I need to talk to him daily. I am afraid he just is running away..
