I am new here....and this is my first post. I am sooooo glad i found this site. I realy feel this will help me.

I am a husband. but I am not ready to disclose my situation yet, but will shortly. Lurk mode is almost over...

What I am looking for is for someone to define all these 2 letter acronimes (sp?) that I see in posts and signatures....theres alot of them I dont understand.

I'd list the ones I dont know, but theres so many...


can someone list some defs for me?....or at least show me a link if there is one on this site?

Someone on here has the master list of all the acronyms. But to answer the ones you asked for...

ww: Wayward Wife (WS is wayward spouse & WH is wayward husband)

bs: Betrayed spouse (BW is betrayed wife and BH is betrayed husband)

dd: Usually this is D-Day...the day you found out about the affair. It can also refer to Dear Daughter, meaning your daughter. So, look for the context.

If you need anymore, just post. Hopefully, someone still has that link.

And by the way, dont lurk...jump on in, the water's fine!!

Welcome to MB. Glad you're starting to feel comfortable enough to post. I understand that it's a bit embarrassing in the beginning. I was the same way. I only asked specific qustions and didn't want to give the entire picture. If I had it to do over, I would have given more details so that the veterans at th etime could have answered very specific to my situation.

Harley's concepts up on the main page are excellent. His books are also good. I have other titles depending on your sitch. Read all of the letters to Harley and basic concepts there.

Regardless, think of the MB board as your virtual support group. Infidelity can be a very lonely, frustrating, depressing etc process for the betrayed spouse (BS). It is very difficult to get support in the real world. Very embarrassing and humiliating.

I, too, was happy I had found this place. Not sure I could have kept my sanity let alone my wife (W) had I not.
