Well WW got her DV papers delivered yesterday. She found that I didn't site adultery but only irreconcilable differences.
But she was irate that I actually wanted something. Upset I wanted the car and custody of the kids. Really upset about the child support thing. Says, "I don't even have a JOB!"
She says we are in for a fight now. I don't really want to fight, or even "a" fight. But I won't be ruined because of her need to pursue the out of town OM.

To bad, so sad for HER Tom! I'll bet she's not even LOOKED for employment. Should've told her Taco Bell is hiring.
She doesn't even have a PLAN for her life besides cheating on you right now and she wants to fight YOU for the kids????? That's so totally messed up!
Maybe job hunting will help clear her fog a little. Geesh! Some people!

YES!! That's exactly the tack to take! Since she's obviously not capable of taking care of the children SOMEONE has to....did she think you'd just let her take them and she'd live on their welfare tix and your child support???? OY VEY!
I'm so so sorry. She's just in so much fog I can smell from here!!!!!
(((hugs))) You keep on keepin on!

You were not left with much of a choice. I see you shaking out the mat and brushing yourself off.
Good luck.

Tom:
Pooh on you for "wanting something."
What resources does she have 2 put up a fight?? OM's paycheck?
Tom, you'd better be telling me that the phone and the computer are at the bottom of the pool...

2 Long, almost wish I could do that. WW would probably love it so she could call cops on me, and file a restraining order.
As I mentioned before she complains sarcastically about my participation here. This morning she accused me of posting the "internet boyfriends" thread.
She said it was strange how similar the story of the poster was with her own story. I told her it was creepy, and painful. She could recognize her similar actions on the postings, but I guess didn't read the other responses. She thought it made her look bad. She says she's not doing anything wrong.
She left today about 2:00 pm and hasn't been home since.
I took the kids out to eat and a movie. DodgeBall. Funny but not as good as I thought it would be.

NiosGirl,
TY. She works one day a week, maybe. She has opportunity to work more but doesn't. And I've encouraged her to find a job. Wanted to have one so she could get her social security "quarters" in to be eligible.
It's alot different when you "have" to work, instead of just working like she is now. If she doesn't want to work she just says no.
The thing, I guess that still bugs me a little. Is when she went to meet OM, she lied to me about going to her sisters house about 100 miles away. It was during her one day a week she was supposed to work. I worked it for her so she could go. She gave me this little wink and said "you'd do that for me ". So I worked for her that day while she was in OM bed. And the worse part is I knew it. I found out the night before. I was so nice of me to do that for her. So she could get some.... [ July 24, 2004, 11:27 AM: Message edited by: Tom Joad ]

What, 2 keep you away from the cell phone? So don't thrown the phone in the pool. Throw the pool on the phone.
"As I mentioned before she complains sarcastically about my participation here. This morning she accused me of posting the "internet boyfriends" thread."
That'd be a hoot.
"She said it was strange how similar the story of the poster was with her own story. I told her it was creepy, and painful. She could recognize her similar actions on the postings, but I guess didn't read the other responses."
Tell her she just needs 2 read the responses from ol' 2long . Seriously, it seems similar because the ALL seem similar. All it 2k 2 make it "scary" was the details, like FL, the Photo thread thing, and the fact that Cheffy only looked at hers and your threads... ...come 2 think of it, it still smells fishy. But none of that matters so much as the point that it sounds similar because they all follow a script. And tell her not 2 just take my word for it. She should read the articles on the home page. "She thought it made her look bad. She says she's not doing anything wrong."
She does look bad. Her actions ARE bad. She's not doing anything "wrong" in the sense that it won't matter 2 the universe in the long haul whether she's Mother Teresa II or Hitler II, but even she can't argue that what she's doing is not "expedient:" it won't give her a happy family.

I'm really sorry you're going through this.
Just wanted to say that a couple of years ago, a judge in the UK set a precedent here by granting full custody of the kids to the father in a divorce case, specifically because the wife had used the internet and found an out-of-town OM. She was a SAHM, got bored and lonely and started searching the internet for "companionship" - she ended up having a PA and filed for D, expecting to get the children. Didn't turn out the way she planned. The judge said she was an unfit mother, because she spent so much time on the computer and cellphone communicating with her internet BF, that she was neglecting the children even while she was still married. Furthermore, she hardly knew the OM and expected to take her children into a "new home" with him. He ruled for full custody to go to the father. Set a precedent for other divorce cases to go the same way. It was the first time the internet has been a factor in a custody ruling. Progress is being made. Hope it goes the same for you.
I'll still pray she wakes up in time to change this.
God bless you.
