First to the moderators,

I’ve noticed Pep’s thread was locked today and that’s a good thing, but please allow me to clear something out with MelodyLane. I feel this is something I really need to do… In advance, my apology if I break any rules here, but I hope you will understand.

MelodyLane,

Normally I only post during working hours, but I feel compelled to post you now since I’ve noticed how you continued today talking ABOUT me and portrayed me as a bad & hypocritical person on Pep’s thread... I’ve even noticed how you denied the fact that I apologized to you 2 months ago...

The fact that you tried to portrait me as a LIAR on Pep’s thread today, make it necessary for me to refresh your mind about the following apology I’ve send to you on this thread 2 months ago:

quote:
Originally posted by Suzet:
Anyway, I’m sorry that you’ve taken the above innocent comment so personally and felt so upset about it… It wasn’t my intention at all. If I have unintentionally hurt your feelings, I sincerely apologize… I hope you will accept it. I know this is just a message board and I don’t even know you personally, but still, I don’t want you to have ‘hard’ feelings towards me...

Can you see & remember now how I was willing to be THE LEAST and apologize to you IN SPITE of the fact that you also owned me an apology? The fact is, you didn’t accept my apology or apologize to me for all the disrespectful things you have said…

Melody, we don’t need to like each other or to be friends with one another, but for the sake of peace & civility on this board, let us leave that incident behind and at least treat each other with dignity & respect. We all deserve to be treated as decent human beings…

Melody, the fact is, we BOTH were wrong in some ways and we BOTH treated each other disrespectful on a certain point and that was wrong for BOTH of us. You can’t deny that and if you do, you are lying to YOURSELF. We can’t point fingers to each other and you can’t accuse me of being hypocritical if you have done the exact same things. By the way, the threads were locked by the moderators not just because of my behavior but ALSO because of YOUR behavior too. See, no need to continue pointing fingers to each other…

One last thing: I’ve noticed on Pep’s thread how you mentioned something about being older than me and being much longer on this board than me... Well, it’s true, but the fact that you are indeed much older than me; have 5000 post and are a member of this board for years now, certainly DON’T mean that you are ‘better’ or ‘superior’ to me or anyone else on these boards. IMO, even the betrayed spouses are not superior or ‘better’ than a remorseful & repentant FORMER WS… Also, the purpose of these boards is to HELP others and to GET help if necessary… NOT to use these boards as a ‘status symbol’ for the amount of posts you have posted or the amount of years you are already serving on this board. Certainly you can feel PROUD about it, nothing wrong with that, but IMO it’s important to stay ‘humble’ in spite of all those things...

Blessings,
Suzet

Suzet, I suspect that thread was locked for a good reason, don't you? Haven't you been warned before about starting up new threads to carry on heated discussions? Here we go again....

Secondly, what you posted is not an apology at all. Saying that "if I inadvertantly hurt" you [which you didn't] is not an apology for bad behavior. You are sorry for nothing and this statement demonstrates it.

Lastly, it is not up to you to decide if I "owe" you an apology or not. You are only responsible for your side of the street. It is up to ME to determine if I owe you an apology. I only apologize when I feel I have been in the wrong.

Is that why you specially designate yourself as an "Old Member" in your own signature?
