Hey all,
Been a good few weeks. WW and i are talking more, cuddling more, and trying to move on. Still seeing counselor once per week. I am now trying to meet some of her EN that she listed as important. Although at times states that i tend to over do it. She states that she likes it but not used to it.
I don't know i know we have gone through this whole ordeal in probably last 3mo. for me and really acknowledged what had been going on for about a mo. now. I know this seems to be pretty speedy in accordance to time line from Harvey's books, but I think and am not sure this would be considered the start recovery?
WW has had no contact with OM, has been around more with family, and basically wants to forget the whole event. I want to forget but tell myself that i will always remember. She is trying to meet some of my EN's and states that we need to take small steps. Although most of my top five EN's are being met. Physical intimacy outside of hugging, small kisses and cuddling is not being met. How long after anyone was in this phase ,of i guess recovery, did that come back? I am trying to be patience with this , but again at times want to go for more but at other times don't.
Sometimes get angry thinking back that i have known her for 20 years and I am having to take baby steps with rekindling our relationship. OM knew her for 6mo. and she was going to town with him.
I feel things are looking better for us. Just hope it doesn't end up as a one way street, so far it hasn't.

I am in no position to advise I am afraid, as my own recovery is still fltering into life. But after 2 weeks I can already relate to what you say - 20 years of love and we must pussyfoot around trying to make these women that we have dedicated our lives to love us again, yet getting to first base took a coupla weeks as far as I can tell for this wrinkly old lothario OM.

Looks like youre doing OK. be strong. I hope to be as far as you in the same timescale.
