Ark - In another thread I was advised to ask you for suggestions on Plan A action. To quickly sum up my situation, my husband has been deployed since Sept. and is coming home this Sunday. He told me in May that he doesn't think marriage is for him anymore and then I found out a month later that he has been involved in an A since March. He came home to visit in early July and filed for divorce but says he is coming home for two months to see if he wants to try and work things out. I just found out about MB and ran out and bought "Surviving an Affair" but could use some practical advise on implementing Plan A in such a short time. Thank you for anything you can help with:)

faithinme....
Hopefully you have read on plan a...
and also I will bump up a plan a thread..where lots of people gave advice...
How are you doing emotionally....when you two talk...are you in good control....cause the more you can do so the more you will be able to communicate without getting bogged down in the drama...
good things and bad...
I would try not to instigate relationship talk...if he brings things up then good and fine...
also be prepared for rejection from him..which will suck and for that I am sorry....
I would also see where you can show how much you DO need him... I think that you must be very independant with the home and kid things since his career is so much out of the home...that will just feed in to his warped belief that you don't "need" him and can survive on your own...since you have had to...
so can you have some things around the house that you really NEED him to do..
say 'dear I am so glad you are here...that stupid washing machine has been acting up and I really need you to look at it... or something like that... lots of little chores or tasks that he can work on that show in action that you DO need him... especially hanging things up in the kids room.. buy something that needs put together...and the kids will enjoy....and have it and the kiddies all waiting for daddy to come home and put it together.....
