Just want to say hi. I see you around. Did you know someone has called you out on recovery. (not me for a change). I also tried to catch you on sadmarylandlady's thread. Just a little joke.

I know I was late reponding to you on your recovery thread. I had a phone call and then get back for ages.

Anyway, The H is back from Perth tonight (late).
I am beginning to notice a bit of a pattern in me. When he is away I seem to spend a lot of time here. When he is around I still check in a bit, but mostly I lurk rather than get involved posting.

Maybe it is a company, loneliness thing, although I don't feel lonely. I think it more has to do with time. When he is here I try to spend as much time with him as I can.

Otherwise things are all fine here. eldest son got cast off his hand. Did some swimming for hi UNI soon after and won the fly. Pretty good as he had to beat a former Australian representative at international level to do it. My son and daughter were both very good swimmers (at Australian level) when they were younger, but both gave it up as their lives became hectic. It was surprising to see that he could still pull out the speed so long after giving the sport away.

Daughter is enjoying her new parttime job. younger son still playing footy, got an award at school for first in subject (first time he has ever ahd an academic award) so I was proud of him.

Me, enjoying some days off work.

See you you sound a lot better

Thank you for the update on yourself. It seems like when I call you out, I spend 500 words telling you all my woes, then spend 1 sentence asking how you are.

I understand about posting more when he is gone. Now that I know the pattern, I will know when your H is out of town!

That is amazing about your son, both with the swimming (amazing athlete to do that, wow), and the academic award! That's almost not fair, that he is so gifted he has both! He's going to make some girl pretty happy, me thinks.

I'm glad your daughter is enjoying her part time job. And I'm glad you got a couple days off work!

I am still trying to decide what I want to do when I grow up. I was thinking to go to chef school for a while, but now I am not so sure. I guess it will require more thought on my part. Our MC suggested a few good books for me to read, to try and find out what I want exactly in this life.

Thanks for giving me the heads-up about the callout on Recovery. I had not seen that.

Take care. Thank you for everything. Chat at you soon!
