...from several of your posts, I get the impression you are an attorney for the gov't...one gave me the impression you might be an employment lawyer...do I have company on these boards???

Hi Brit! I am not an attorney nor an employment attorney. I spend LOTS of time on things that are closely related to various areas of the law, but my official title is "management consultant."

And no, thank god, that is not me!! I have, praise be, joint legal and physical custody of my daughter. And while my partner COULD be a "recovering" lesbian supported by the Christian Coalition, she's not.
I hear myself writing a letter to the editor Real Soon Now, though. Ooooo, WP is gonna be PISSED when I expose her affair to the whole freaking nation. (Yes, they will almost certainly print the letter. We were on the front page of the Post on Jan 2, 2003, you see -- DD was the first baby of the year in 2003...)
Oh, this is just so.... amazing. I was just writing about speaking about about this more -- and now I'm going to.

The landmark civil rights case about the right to BE A FRICKING GOD DAMNED PARENT. For those who pray, please pray for the child caught in the middle of this. And please pray for the woman who miscarried and who appears to have lost her mind.... and mostly, please pray for Janet Jenkins, who is almost certainly a good parent in a very, very horrible situation.
