My wife and I went to an Imago therapist yesterday.
My wife does not believe she wants to try something like this. Her fear is she will wake up in 5 years and still not love me. Does not want to go through the pain and hurt again that we are going through now.
She has had two affairs in the last 5 years and we have done a poor job of handling them and trying to figure out why.
Now that I am understanding both Harley and Imago, I do see a way to fix our marriage the right way.
She has 10 years of us failing and does not trust that we can make the changes necessary. Nor does she think the changes we make would last very long.
How do I respond?
