Take the "guilt" you have .... mix it thoroughly with humility .... and it turns into ...

Turn your guilt into gratitude by sieving it through humility.
Let your beauty shine so bright that your H can't take his eyes off you...
And remember, he's grateful too .... grateful FOR YOU in his life

Jen
I'm sorry for my tardiness, but congratulations to you and Mr. Kiwi! 30 years!!! That is awesome. Hubby and I will celebrate our 25th next July!!!
Jen, one thing that I'm learning is that you can't dwell on the regrets, just thank God that you have a marriage that has truly withstood the most difficult test I believe there is besides maybe losing a child. [ August 27, 2004, 12:29 PM: Message edited by: Lisa103 ]

Jen
Congratulations...I am glad I read your post...here is something I've posted before...it fits me and we are supposed to be in recovery too. Perhaps you might be encouraged by it as well. H
I know it's "spliting hairs" but I really don't like the word "recovery" it means geting back what we had before. I want something better than that..."a new and improved" model. We just spent a few days camping and Mrs H was "more free" than in the past...our time together was better than on other trips. I think that it is important that we choose a different path as to not repeat past mistakes...I've posted thie following before and it comes from a "Recovery" Brochure.
Autobiography In Five Short Chapters
1. I walk down the street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk, I fall in. I am lost...I am hopeless. It isn't my fault It takes forever to find my way out.
2. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I pretend I don't see it. I fall in again. I can't believe I am in the same place. But it isn't my fault. It still takes a long time to get out.
3. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I see it is there. I still fall in...it's a habit. My eyes are open. I know whee I am. It is my fault. I get out immediately.
4. I walk down the same street. There is a deep hole in the sidewalk. I walk around it.
5. I walk down another street.

Jen I really hope you know what HOPE you give me and I am sure many other BSs with your prcedent.
That your FOUL situation turned around completely, then carried on back ABOVE where it was is inspirational to me. When it gets dark, as it has today for me, I reread your story and my eyes spike with tears of happiness for you and hope for US.
If God could do it for you & geordie Hubby, he can do it for us. If so for you, why not for us?
God bless you richly all your lives Jen the Kiwi. Your story is an inspiration.
Much Love
Bob {{{{{jen}}}}}
