Has anyone else done this?

I'm not really sure if I believe any of it but I figured hey why not?

So I stopped by and had my palm read. I've had tarot readings before but I only had $10 in cash on me so I went ahead and went for the palm reading. I'm hesitant in believing anything that they say but she was suprisingly on target. I give her points for reading my body language at any rate.

She mentioned that I am not in the place I want to be career wise and that I can be doing much more than what I'm doing now. She said she still saw schooling ahead of me but by the time I'm middle aged I should be living comfortably.

As for romance she said she could see someone circling around me. That there was something wrong with my marriage and that the break with my H was not of my choice. (I never mentioned anything about marital problems) She also said she saw that there was cheating involved and that she sees him trying to get back with me soon. She said see saw a lot of blocks in my marriage and some other stuff but I could harly hear her.

Other notes being I should live into my 70's or 80's and that I'm meant to have 2 to 3 children. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

She also said that I haven't been working as hard as I can work wise which is true. When I was in school I never studied due to my unending lazyness. Something I'm working on changing.

She wants me to come in for a more detailed reading because she sensed something deeper going on than she could get through a palm reading.

I don't know about that, but I think it was just a fun thing to do, like reading horoscopes and stuff like that.

Has anyone else here had a reading done? If so, did they mention anything about infidelity?

I was into that, a long time ago <img border="0" title="" alt="[Embarrassed]" src="images/icons/blush.gif" /> , when I was a student... we did that for fun, I even bought the book...
Btw, did she read from just one palm or from both?
(The right "shows" what you were born with, the left what you accomplished and still will.)


I don't believe it can say details, but some things, in general - yes...
And I'd always take it as a fun...
We don't have control over what's happening in our lives, but should do our max. to have control over our own peace and hapiness in mind...

I am not judging as many fellow Catholics are unaware but palm reading, tarot cards, even horoscopes are not appropriate in which to particpate.

You can visit the vatican.va-the site of the Holy See and follow-up with the Catechism of the Catholic Faith. It is very enlightening and user friendly. You can find a hard copy at any religious book store and probably at the library.

I would suggest delving into your faith rather than playing with predictions.

For those who are not quite as concerned by the religious aspects of Tarot and palmistry, they can both be useful guides to thinking about life in ways that you have not thought about it before.

Tarot in particular can be quite illuminating when used as a guide to meditation, archetypal influences in your life, and consideration of alternate interpretations of the present situation.
