That was a thought provoking post Hiker. H and I have been talking alot about the importance of forgiveness lately and the one person neither one of us ever thinks about forgiving is the OM.
H used to read all your threads BTW, I think you were one of his favorite WSs. He would remember your story but I can't recollect it at the moment, don't remember the details. In my case the OM was a crafty sort who has done a lot of things to be forgiven for but even so I really only think of him in the abstract. I don't even know if I want to bother spending any spare time thinking about him enough to get to a point of forgiveness. Hmmm...
It sounds like it was something important for you to do, you do sound good these days! Thanks for bringing it up, it'll make for some interesting conversation with H tonight. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" /> KB

Right now it seems to me that it would be great if forgiveness came from all directions. I think forgiveness helps those who are stuck in the past and continue to rerun the events in their heads. If that is happening for anyone I think it would be helpful to forgive and move on. In my case I still was PO'ed by the idiot who cut me off on the freeway a few years back...what a stupid story to keep reruning in my overtaxed brain.
Thanks for your comments. I am glad o be of service. H
