3, I am so happy for you. I remember reading your posts when I was in the deep pain stage. You were kind of where I am finding myself now. In recovery, yet not really feeling like it's recovery. You know what I mean? Anyway, how great that your H woke you up with kisses!

Guess what? We live in the same neck of the woods. My love is more baseball that football, however I was as POed as anyone when old Art stole our team. Presently I'm not even into b-ball because i got tired of the greedy players and greedy management. I have to try and get back into it. There was NOTHING better than sitting in Jacob's Field and watching Omar and Robby Alomar pull off their spectacular double plays. And as big of a pain as Albert Bell was, watching one of his home runs fly out of the park, well that was just beautiful. OK, thinking about the Indians and the 90s, I'm remembering FUN.

Thanks for the great post! CV

Reporting back from a fun beach outing with my kids.
Watched them longboard.
Tried this myself.... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
Had fun while attempting, need WAY more time to even get close to standing up, but managed to catch a few waves while hanging onto the board; what an exilarating feeling.
Rode a big rollercoaster too. Real, physical, not emotional kind for a change.
Got back home earlier to avoid trafic.
Will cook someting good later today.
Yeah, sometimes you do have to force fun onto yourself, but hopefully one day there will be no sad undercurrents anymore.
Thanks for the thread.

3iac! Howya doin? Still smilin'!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Yes, brown survived the weekend of trying to get my oldest D ready for school! (Don't know if our bank account did!) (Today was her first day--I know, I know: we do things back a$$wards in NY!)

Actually, it's a little tough on our little one (3 next month): spent the whole summer with her big sister, and now, she's not here during the day. Breakin' her little heart. <img border="0" alt="[Teary]" title="" src="graemlins/teary.gif" /> And it's gonna get even crazier--getting ready to move!

Like you, looking for that FM sighting!

And, BTW, I was just fine after my third beer the other day, thank you very much! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Razz]" src="images/icons/tongue.gif" />

You've got a great spirit and outlook, 3iac--Thanks!!!!

Drivingwise? About 10 seconds! We are two houses down from the cross street--will be moving to the house on the cross street. Still, lots to be cleaned and packed and thrown away! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Frown]" src="images/icons/frown.gif" />

May be against MB rules (or just too forward), but, what part of NY? (Ignore question if either are true!)

PS Ya think you can tell me what your trick is for not liking to shop? Maybe I can do some SB'ing! (Shop busting!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Shop busting LOL ,,, Ok 1- I am a in and out shopper , I know what I am looking for get it get out LOL 2- never have enough money to buy any way so shopping sucks with no BUCKS LOL

And the real reason is MY H ,, he LOVES TO SHOP !any where anytime all day all night could look and read and browse FOREVER!
That made me hate shopping even more LOL

Even though from NY I hate crowds and nasty people (I know how do I survive NY LOL )

H and I from Queens , NY . Don't mind telling its a big enough place . LOL where are you guys ?

Found FM on the recovery board !

Hi 3,
Yes I did survive shopping!!!! I really don't enjoy the "outlets" ... but the DD wanted Vans. I usually don't do the names ya know .... but she's an "A" student and it was her 1st day of "middle school". I enjoy shopping alot more when the $$$$$$ is there.

I wish we could've had more *FUN* over the weekend ..... between 4 kids and LINY's MIL (Yes, *I* have serious "mother issues"). It's like NO ONE really wants us to be alone URGH!!!!

I hope this week goes a little better ... LINY is off the whole week .... I still have to work, but just to have dinner with him is so nice.

(And if you hadn't guessed from his name LINY ... we're from Long Island, New York ... the Burbs or maybe it's the Sticks).

I'll keep working on that *FUN*

3,

Gotta love you gal. You are the BEST.

Put the smile on my face, and was a happy girl this holiday.

And you know that customer, the good one did come. I got a great tip. 100% of the bill!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

And now I have 3 days off, <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" /> then go to the doctor for the carpel tunnel in both wrists. Yikes. I am okay on the keyboard, I am fortunate you Know? <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Love ya 3!

Love in Christ,
Miss M
