This is one of my favorite old songs. It tells a lot. A song I sang while I was a BS. It tells what I wanted to say to my H. Not the WS, but my H.

In fact, I did sing it a bit one evening to my H (when he stepped out of the alien WS mold). It was for a brief moment and I couldn't help but cry but it really told my feelings.

It has a soft flowing melody. Sometimes put in Hawaiian albums. I'd like to share it with you.

Dedicated to the all the BS suffering out there.

I'll Remember You

(words & music by lee)
I’ll remember you
Long after this endless summer has gone
I’ll be lonely oh so lonely
Living only to remember you

I’ll remember too
Your voice as soft as the warm summer breeze
Your sweet laughter, mornings after
Ever after, I’ll remember you

To your arms someday I’ll return to stay
Till then I will remember too
Every bright start we made wishes upon
Love me always, promise always
Oooh, you’ll remember too

I’ll remember you

Luv,
L.

Thats very saddening. I have almost deliberately put out of my mind the lovely, sweet things we had done, small loving promises made to each other as they lost all value to WW when she chose to have sex with OM.

22 years of sweet loving thoughtfulness burned on her pyre of selfish lust.

These lyrics hurt. I will look at the wider betrayal someday, but not now. Not yet.

Thanks though Orchid.

My dear Bob,

Sorry. These lyrics were meant for the BS to have this tool so they can let their WS' know what the BS and family will remember.

See it is critical the BS let the WS know that it is their spouse they want back not the WS.

Most lyrics will hurt but I thought this one could be used by the BS to convey some of their feelings to a certain degree.

The WS can't blame the BS too much....re: the BS didn't write the lyrics. LOL!!! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Orchid, you told ME ages ago that no-one is responsible for how other people interpret information or actions but THEM.

Its good, really. I just took my dog on a 'prayer walk' (our park has a ruined priory within it, where the faithful have petitioned God for almost a thousand years and it is VERY conducive to prayer there). I am not so sure that every wish on a star, every sweet loving promise WAS turned to dust on the day WW first betrayed me.

If we recover, the promises are still valid. The A won't invalidate the sweetness, only divorce will do that.

Its a good lyric. There ar emany painful things I must start to look at as we move into the next phase after the A is dead.

Sounds like something I post..... <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

The BS can use tools which are all around us to send messages to the WS, that the WS can't throw back in our faces as hard. This will still get the point across without the extended pain.

The WS is responsible for their actions. Like our children are getting t/b. The sad part is that our children are grown up but our spouses are regressing to a time outside of the human realm. Not a good place to be. Not even the animal kingdom is as cruel as a WS. Sad isn't it?

Hang in there Bob..... U R getting better.

take care,
L.

Hi Orchid,

Not a problem. I will leave a message if I can't get a hold of you.
