Well done, Silly Girl!

I too am thankful every day but forget to say so.

I am thankful that no matter how great our sorrow, the sun rises again every day and we get a fresh chance to start over.

I am thankful for the man my H was for 31 years. He will be that man again, with God's help.

I am really thankful for MB - I think finding this site was an answer to my prayers for guidance.

I am so thankful for my wonderful son.

I am so thankful for my friends who have stepped forward to help me right now when I need them most.

Thank you for reminding me to be thankful.

I am thankful for the usual things: Health, Family, Jesus in my heart.

I am also thankful that when I mess up and give bad advice here at MB (and I often do that)friends here correct me WITH LOVE and CARING.

It is so obvious that almost everyone here is trying to uplift one another; not tear down.

THANK YOU MB friends.
I hope to do better in the future at being an 'uplifter'.

Sincerely and with love, Julie <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

I LOVE this topic!! So many times we forget to remember to be thankful. I think it was Oprah who, a few years back, talked about doing a gratitude journal and thinking of at least 5 things, every day, that you're grateful for before you go to bed. I did it for a while and it really does help to change your perspective on your day.

I'm grateful today for...

My husband being home

OW being in another state

Our 8 month old baby who's smile is like looking into the face of joy itself

Our oldest daughter who woke up this morning and cuddled up next to mom...she just doesn't do that as much any more

Our little girl who told me I make the best pancakes in the world because I added chocolate chips

My job

My friend... faithsfriend .... who I hope sees this as she's lurking. Without her I would be a crying, shaking, neurotic mess. She also, according to my daughter, makes me funnier. THANK YOU.

MB and the wonderful people here

The leaves beginning to turn. Nothing like the beginning of fall in the northwest

Hope

Faith

Love

This is also my FIRST post.

When I read the topic, I thought, SURE LADY, YOU REALLY ARE A SILLY GIRL...I got nothin to be thankful for...I am a grown man that cries like a baby whenever I am alone!

But as the day wore on, I realized I have MUCH to be thankful for.

If it weren't for my wife (even though she is breaking my heart by having an affair and leaving us) I wouldn't have my TWO GREAT SONS!

They like to watch an old old movie called 'Song of the South'....that is how I decided on my ID name....I have been humming this song from the movie today...quite an impovement over yesterday!

This is a great topic...so I am grateful for it (the topic). And...

...for MB. It is doing so much for my WH and me than anything else.

...for my WH, who, last night sent the 'good-bye letter' to the OW.

...that the OW lives far, far away.

...for our 3 kids.

...that our daughter, away at college, will be home for Columbus weekend.

...for my Mom and sister, who don't know, but are so good to my family.

...for Jesus, who saves us every day.

...for the advice and support I've received here.

I am thankful for soooo much but mostly,

for my beautiful, wonderful daughter, Paige.

Sometimes I still can't believe God entrusted her to me. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="images/icons/smile.gif" />

If it wasn't for her I would surely have self-destructed by now.

She gives me a reason to get up in the morning, and a reason to be good, when before her I didn't even know what "good" meant.

*edited for my atrotious (sp) spelling... one thing I am not thankful for! Oh yeah, and I am thankful for spellcheck at work <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Sept 09, maddy's thankfuls

-I am thankful that I did not feel on the verge of tears when talking to my IC yesterday. I usually feel just fine when I arrive there but once I start talking, I well up since she is the only person I have to talk to. Well yesterday I did not and so I am thankful that my pain is receding
-I am thankful that I have enough food in my pantry to last until next week
-I am thankful for all the prayer's being sent to Florida
-I am thankful that I do not live in an evacuation zone.
-I am thankful for optimism and knowing that things can be better.
