I don't think so. Talked yes2rday 2 the guy who made the sample collectors. The particles they're interested in are buried in that stuff due 2 going 10s of thousands of kph, whereas the capsule augured in at maybe hundreds. It'll be broken up and dirty, but I'm betting it'll be recoverable.

No official word yet, though.

He thought probably not. Certainly a "mess", but the Utah dirt shouldn't be embedded in the collectors like the solar wind stuff, so they might be able 2 separate them.

"Afterglow", -Genesis

"Like the dust that settles all around me,
I must find a new home.
The ways and holes that used to give me shelter,
Are all as one to me now.
But I, I would search everywhere
Just to hear your call,
And walk upon stranger roads than this one
In a world I used to know before.
I miss you more.

Than the sun reflecting off my pillow,
Bringing the warmth of new life.
And the sounds that echoe all around me,
I caught a glimpse of in the night.
But now, now I've lost everything,
I give to you my soul.
The meaning of all that I believed before
Escapes me in this world of none, no thing, no one.

And I would search everywhere
Just to hear your call,
And walk upon stranger roads than this one
In a world I used to know before.
For now I've lost everything,
I give to you my soul.
The meaning of all that I believed before
Escapes me in this world of none,
I miss you more."

What did Ark say?

Can someone translate?

Am I that old?

I bet JL understands it, I bet he does.

<img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Speaking of mud: When my son was 5 and wanted 2 do something we told him he couldn't, I used the "What part of NO don't you understand" on him.

His answer?: "Both parts!!"

He was so sure of himself at the time, 2.

And my daughter, when she was about that age said "I like strawberry shortcake a lot, but the strawberries make it taste kind of funny."

Needless 2 say, I'm a GOOD father, and I remind them of those quotes as often as I can!

I guess I'm really screwed up - I understood both what 2long AND ark** said. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" /> <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="images/icons/shocked.gif" />

2long - my brother recently went into a watering hole not far from where he's having a house built that advertised live music on Friday nights:

Brother: What kind of music do you have here?

Waitress: Oh, we have both kinds - country AND western!

my response is in response to 2long answer with big words...
like... kph
capsule augured

what I think he is saying that something got dirty...
real dirty..
but not dirty enough to cause big damage...

clear as mud I tell ya...

my 6 year old when speaking to good friend who have chosen to remain childfree in their marriage...

Gracie says to friend...
:so you and bill never had kids...

and
friend answers..
"that's right grace why do you think that is...:

"Couldn't handle the pressure could ya?" was her reply.....

[This is my 4th and final attempt 2 post this badboy. Hope I don't end up with a FOURPLE POST in the process!!]

WAT:

I used 2 call that stuff "B&R music" when I was working in Nevada 25 years ago (Basin and Range), because that's all they thought was "music" 2.

Each time I got home, I'd have 2 fire up the licorice pizza rotisserie and play some Pink Floyd and King Crimson real loud 2 purge my system.

At least the beer was good...

I love fun threads, just because they are so fun.

Ark, we have eight. (8, not a misprint.)

I suppose that means we are really dumb, or I worlk well in a preasure suit.

Where do kids come from anyway?

2long,
When I was just a small teenager, we had one radio station in town. It played everything. I mean everything. The kids complained in the day time, the adults complained at night. I listened to it all the time.

It didn't affect.........

It didn't affect..........

It didn't affect..........

It didn't affect me at all.

Pep,
I have kinda wanted to ask, but I didn't know if it was a good subject.

I know he will continue to have struggles, I hope the improvement is real, and sustained.

It's a tough world, we people seem to need all the help we can get. If he drives to UT, and has any problems in my neck of the woods, please call. 2long has my number.

Hates Utah, wants to go back. Must have worked.

Wasatch Brewing company has some good beers, but they're 4.0 or so, so they need 2 be sold in 9 packs 2 provide the same medicinal value.

My favorites: "Saint Provo Girl" and "Polygamy Porter" <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
