i have been married for 22 years. and i love my wife just as much now as when we first met. but i have a gut feeling that she is having an affair with a co- worker who has been a good freind to me.i trusted him with my wife because he helped her thru the depression she suffered after a surgery where she almost died. she says they have never done nothing and are just freinds but they spend way to much time together and talk more than we talk at home.i am scared to confront her on this because i am scared that she will leave me.what can i do? [ September 14, 2004, 09:40 PM: Message edited by: jw788 ]

Don't make any accusations until you are sure what is going on.
What you can discuss with her at this time is the inappropriateness of her emotional dependence on another male. It is clearly interfering with your marriage and preventing you from having a normal, intimate relationship with her. It is entirely inappropriate.
I would address it from that viewpoint unless and until you have PROOF that there is an affair.
In the meantime, I would suggest doing some sleuthing to find out what is really going on. You can tap your phone or put spyware on your computer.
