Yesterday i took my daughter (9) to IC. While i was on my way back ww calls and tells me to get home right away that our son (1 1/2) cut his finger on a razor and wont stop bleending. She says she was taking a shower and that he was playing in the bathroom.

I race home and try bandage the finger to no avail...I tell ww to get the other kids together that we will all go to Hosp. She says not that D has homework. I siad then that we can leave the other two with a neighbor and she says no that its best if we call 911 or i take him.

I cant believe this.....our son is bleeding and she wont come with me to Hosp. I just leave and take him to hosp alone. This was about 6:45.....she shows up at hosp at 8:10....5 minutes before we were leaving.

On the way to Hosp i call ww father and get no answer. Till this point he has ho idea of A.

We get home and i ww father calls and i tell him the whole story. He then talks to her and then back to me and he doesnt know who to beleive.

Why would i lie. What do i have to gain...i cant make this stuff up.

After checking the phone records i see that Ww was calling OM when i left for Hosp. Nice....She was also on phone with OM when i left for the IC with my daughter...

You did the right thing telling FIL. Now make sure you start to record all these things. You may need this if WW fights you for custody. I hope your Son is doing better this morning.

OMG, JAH...I'm so sorry about this. I can only assume your son was doing well when you left the hospital. Unbelieveable. Even in my two addictions I had, if my C was in immediate danger, all bets off (pun intended) and its my C that takes precedence. What your WW did was downright inhuman and cruel--way past fog. I'm sorry.

I am thankfully not in this position, but kloe may be onto something: if it gets that far, a journal (with the phone bill when it comes in) attached might be a necessary entry to ensure your *CHILDREN* are taken care of by the most suitable parent. I'm sorry, I don't know your full story. Just had to respond to this act of complete disregard.

Best wishes.

He is ok...They actually glued (skin glue) the cut closed.

WW needs help....help that i cant give her.

maybe the additional exposure will do good.

how much more can my mind and body take before I snap.

Your reply just reminded me of a kids saying:

"I am rubber, you are glue; everything you say, bounces off of me and sticks onto you."

When you think about it, what a deep insightful meaning. Be that rubber band. You need to be flexible, yet the foundation of a bridge. YOU ARE NOT GOING TO SNAP! Keep it together, man!

PS My daughter had a similar cut right over her eyebrow, sort of to the side, years ago. (It was when this skin glue was first coming out (and before it was OTC.)) It healed pretty good--barely visible scar. I think stitches would have scarred it worse.
