My wife signed the separation agreement last week but still hasn't left for the OM. She claims she is waiting on a disbursement from her retirement account for some money. She is still at home and we are getting along great except when I lose it over the phone calls from OM. I love my wife and don't want a separation or divorce but I also don't want the OM in my life. Since the OM has plenty of money - why hasn't he bought her a plane ticket and gotten her out there with him. Why hasn't my wife left yet? I don't understand at all. If he is so great and wonderful why is she hanging around here with me? The disbursement she claims to be waiting for is not that much money.

As I was taking her to town yesterday, I asked what she was thinking and she told me " I was thinking why didn't OM call me today". All I said was thank you for being honest with me. It broke my heart but I kept my cool.

So I could force the issue legally but that would just cost more $. Any insight in this strange behaviour?

Hello HopefullinNY,

is OM married?
Maybe he isn't so keen on letting the A "evolve" into an R ?

Brownhair-yes the OM is married with a 13 yr old at home and a 19 yr old in college. You could be right but my wife has bet it all that he will. In the separation agreement she basically gave me everything.
