Well I feel like a failure in all that I have done to this point in my life. Parent , Husband , and Responsible Adult. This Affair has made me look at who I am. I did not meet her emotional needs and now am paying the consequences for it. I am living in misery constantly thinking about how I failed. Now I am loking at my wife and wondering if the work will be worth it. I have no feelings anymore. I can find happiness in nothing that used to make me happy. All of this work is just conscience efforts to do things that I was doing before but it was going unnoticed. Now I am trying to teach myself how to live in this grief for the sake of others (wife, children). I don’t feel anything has changed other than my Wife is not sleeping with the guy down the street. She says she loves me but her actions don’t.

So the question

Will a separation tell me if I want to keep trying?

Do I need a Plan A??
