Hi eric,
I didn't want to thread jack FL's posts but I wanted to address what you said about my post to her.
I did not know at the time I mentioned the question of whether or not FL should disclose what she was withholding inside to her H that what she was keeping from her H was the fact that the she was involved with the "family friend" in her past. This is obviously an issue that DOES need to be discussed with her H.
I generally do not subscribe to "what you don't know can't hurt you" but rather when it comes to Infidelity, that sometimes, enough is enough.Like the example I gave, there is a time to stop with every minute detail of pain and redirect the focus on the positive goals and information that can lead to recovery.I personally do not believe that every single detail of an A can always be discussed in every single relationship at any given time.I cannot even remember every single detail about my life months ago.
Anyway, point is,I do agree with being completely open and honest with your spouse but there is a time to move away from the pain and head toward healing. In FL's case, she unfortunately cannot ignore that issue.
Just my opinion. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Cool]" src="images/icons/cool.gif" />
