Hi everyone,
I'm new to this discussion group. 6 months ago my husband left me while I was 5 months pregnant with our second child. He was having an affair with a co-worker (22 years old-we are 28) After being separated for six months, we decided to work things out for the sake of our relationship and for the sake of the kids.
I have been back with him for only three weeks and he has once again admitted to me that he has been talking with the other woman on his cell phone, when I'm not around.
I got him to promise me today that he would never speak with her again, if we were ever to have an honest shot at our marriage. She is the devil in disguise, and I know that my husband is to blame as well. What type of woman could continue this relationship, knowing that I recently had a baby (8 weeks ago) and we also have a 2 1/2 year old daughter? It makes me sick to my stomach.
I am a stay-at-home mom, my job is to stay at home with our kids and to take care of the house.
I have been in a very dark place the last few days. All I want is for my husband to love me and want to come home to me. I am an attractive, intelligent woman who deserves to be loved, because I love so much.
Please, does anyone have any advice?

Welcome to marriagebuilders. It is a great place to be and you will get lots of support here.

The problem is not so much the other woman (although what is she thinking), but your husband. You have only been back together 3 weeks and he is continuing to do the same thing that caused you to seperate.

I think you need to see a marriage counselor. His behavior is dangerous to your marriage.

Also he needs to write a no contact letter to her. It should say that he loves you and is going to work on your marriage, and he wants no contact with her for any reason.

Do they still work together?
