Guess you're green-eyed over our FL MB party, huh?

BTW, congratulations on your XW wanting to reconcile, that is so awesome!

My WH is from Phoenix and his fam live in Phoenix...they have Thanksgiving dinner every year at South Mountain. WH and I live in San Diego but periodically visit Phoenix during the year. God knows the next time I'll be out there but I have a great relationship with WH's parents so we will stay in touch regardless of what happens between WH and I.

I am still inspired by your story and can only hope that WH comes around like your WW did.

ME: 28 yo faithful wife of 3.5 years who is trying to hold hope for saving our marriage

Him: Almost 31 yo unfaithful H who had 4 month affair last fall, dropped bomb on me and left me May '04, admits to dating, and tells me I need to move on, yet he hasn't filed for divorce???

No kids, no house although we were planning on this in 2005

My geography of the mid-west is awful, but I know of MBers in Kansas, Arkansas, and Louisianna (right, Ethan?) who'd love to crash our party. Maybe sometime y'all can take a road trip together (you're all men, it would be fun! -lots of crazy driving, loud music and gross humor, lol)

How about getting people together for a big party in the southwest...a group hike in the Grand Canyon or perhaps a barbecue on the beach in San Diego??? I know there are a couple other MBs here in San Diego and I have a close friend here in Cali who recently divorced and would love the support too. Thoughts???

That doesn't do me any good. I'm no where near any of these places.

Wow...real small world. I went to Naperville North HS...graduated in '94. My parents live off of Gartner/Washington near the river. Perhaps when I am home over the holidays, we can get together and have a MB party then ( : I am always amazed how much Naperthrill (as I call it) changes each time I visit!

It's funny, I've been here about 5 years now and it's changed from a little town out of an amusement park to the center of night life out here in the suburbs. You should see what they've done to Features in downtown.

I used to live right on the river just south of DT. Now I live in NW Naperville. Too bad you never took fencing at the park district. You could have known my H then.

Is your H from Naperthrill too? Since he is the same age as me, we could have been in the same graduating class....10 year reunion is over Thanksgiving go figure but I am hoping to join my WH at his parents like we always do (not sure if this is likely). I am dreading explaining why WH is not home for the holidays to fam members who don't know about us yet...ugh. If I am flying solo at the holidays, I will sure be up for a few drinks...perhaps I'll check out Features ( :

My H never went to school (home schooled) so it's not likely that you've met him. I'm going to be in Texas over the weekend of Thanksgiving for a cousin's wedding. (Not sure if I'm up for it yet but oh well.) I'm leaving Friday and coming back Sunday night. So I'm spending Thanksgiving alone as well. I'll probably have to work too. We should definitly plan a MB get together up here if you are ever in the area.
