Anyone else need a good laff today??

Anyone heard any good jokes lately?

Here's one of mine to start it off:

A gynecologist had a burning desire to change careers and become a mechanic.

So he found out from the local tech college what was involved, signed up for evening classes, attended diligently, and learned all he could.

When the time for the practical exam approached, the gynecologist prepared carefully for weeks, and completed the exam with tremendous skill.

When the results came back, he was surprised to find that he had obtained a mark of 150%.

Fearing an error, he called the instructor, saying" I don't want to appear ungrateful for such an outstanding grade, but I wondered if there had been an error which needed adjusting."

The instructor said, "During the exam, you took the engine apart perfectly, which was worth 50% of the total mark. You put the engine back together again perfectly, which is also worth 50% of the mark.

I gave you an extra 50% because you did all of it through the muffler."

ok, maybe it was an oldie...

just in dire need of distraction today. H is going away this weekend with another woman (just a friend - well ok I know everyone on this site will smirk at that) and I am stuck in a very foreign country with big language comprehension issues (mine, not theirs). On top of that a TV news crew has just taken over my very tiny office that I share with 3 others to interview my boss. The world's gone crazy.

as I said, anyone heard a good one?

Smur, I thought it was funny.

You've been lurking on the Jelly thread.....I've seen you.

Load of Idiots and a lot of fun. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Wink]" src="images/icons/wink.gif" />

Hi KiwiJ,
Someone else in this kind of time zone - the jelly thread is only marginally comprehensible to me - looks like a lot of fun but I'm lost for words.

Smur, always good to talk to someone else from down under. You're in Japan now aren't you? Or am I confusing you with someone else?

I hate to leave people hanging but I've been on the net since I got home from work and it's probably time to spend some time with my H.

Here's one, but maybe a little silly.
Two snowmen standing in a frigid, wind-blown, moon-lit field-

The one snowman looks at the other snowman and says:

Do you smell carrots? Ha Ha Ha <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Hi KiwiJ,

yes I'm an Aussie living in Japan. Like all the others - I know they're here, Tokyo even has its own Aussie rules and rugby comps - just haven't actually bumped into any.
