I just found out a former co-worker passed away yesterday from Pancreatic Cancer. She was diagnosed just 32 days ago. Really makes you stop and think. Although a lot of us are suffering, there is still a lot of good in our lives and we can't forget that. Life is too precious. 32 days. She was only 44 years old.

Isn't it funny how hard the body fights to live, but yet how easy it is for it to die?
Kloe, you're right. Living every day the best you can, and trying to leave everybody with a good feeling about you, is all so important.
How are you?

That really makes you stop and look at your life, doesn't it?
I see that I have soooo many good things in my life, even tho my current situation stinks.
I am so thankful for all the good things in my life.
A dear friend of ours passed away almost a year ago. He had pancreatic cancer.
WH and I visited him in the hospital. And all I could think of the whole time was that here was someone who would give ANYTHING to be with his family longer, and my husband (WH at that time, but I didn't know yet), was just walking away from his.
Makes you look at what's really important in life.
Hugs to you, Kloe, and prayers for your co-workers' family.
K

I sent WH the e-mail I received about my former co-worker and pointed out the 32 day time frame. He asked if I was going to the funeral. I said I was but we didn't know when it was yet. We have Lamaze class tonight so we'll see how that goes.

Kloe,
A co-worker of mine was informed that his 18 year old son died last night when he drive his motorcycle into a car. I cannot imagine the grief involved in losing a child. One's priorities become crystal clear at such moments. I too will be reflecting on my blessings.
