Well,

It has been 7 weeks since my A was outed. A horrible time for both of us. A quick recap - I had been emailing with a woman and things got carried away and went to the sexual nature. Never met her, never planned on it. I am asshamed that I let this happen becasue I truly do live for my wife, as I am sure most people on here care for their signifigant others. I am now living out of the house. We have been going to counseling, both together and seperately and make strides each week to figure out why I did this. I thank her for trying to work this out. Last night she told our theropist she does not even feel like she is married. We spent some time together over the weekend and there were certainly some awkward moments..I mean, come on..this is a tough time for us. At no time have i ever felt like she is not my wife. I know I am the one that caused this hurt and have come to some really solid conclusions on why I let this happen. All things we deal with openly. I guess my question is this. What, if anything can I do to help bring her back? To help her regain the VERY strong love that we shared. Is this just a phase that we both hope she can overcome? Our theropist told her it was normal and she felt a little better about it. I mean, she has stopped doing anything that would give a stranger the impression we are even married. She did hold my hand when I took her apple picking and she did need me the other night when she felt so sad and alone so I came home for the night and we cuddled in bed like we had done for the previous 4 years. I am just so sad and scared that she will not snap out of this. Did I mention she is definitely the most stubborn person I had ever met..but GOD I love her. She also happens to be the most giving person. Just looking for some insight on the detachment phase and anything that I culd be doing to help her through this. Thanks for reading.
