DipiT,
For what it's worth I've been referenced as an ex-husband in emails (to others) as far back as January. I have yet to acheive that illustrious title....
I am tempted to give you the "you deserve better than this" pep talk, but A. You probably already know that, and B. coming from me in this situation, it would be quite pot and kettle......
But you are.
Sending a smile and hug!
Ethan

DipiT -
You deserve much better than he is willing to give. Same as me. And know what? I am going to get what I deserve. I have written my WH off, and am much happier without him around.
In fact I hope he DOES marry the OW. She'll get a good taste of him then. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

"There, but for the Grace of God, go I."
And, I am talkin' 'bout his "wife"!
What other sort of lunacy do they speak to each other?
What will this raunchy behavior get either of them, in the end?
peace? serenity? spiritual enlightenment?
Highly doubtful.
They are both to be pitied for their huge capacity for self-deception.
Rest easy ... your path is upward... theirs is bound to spiral downward... dishonesty does not bear sweet fruit.

The whole way to my WH's brother's house this afternoon he talked in great detail about the woman in Canada that "digs" him. The same I referenced in the beginning of this post. Since I have pretty much given up on any chance of reconciliation at this point, I decided to entertain this conversation with him.
ME: So, did anything develop with this girl
WH: She is really cute, very fit, smart, from America, but, she has this desperation about her that concerns me.
Me: And, your heart is elsewhere, right?
WH: [looking at me confused]
ME: THE OTHER WOMAN
WH: Oh yeah, right, well, I guess.
I can't believe it. He is so gonna cheat on her. I almost feel sorry for her.
Almost.

I went to church today and it make all the difference. It is so much easier to have compassion and forgiveness when you put into perspective the betrayal we committ against Christ.
Anyways, one more day until he leaves again. Not sure what the next emotional will be...guess I will buckle my seatbelt and find out! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />

Isn't it interesting there are so many "soul mates" for a WS, and they are all conveniently in places they visit?
Soulmate-ness is so magical that way. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Roll Eyes]" src="images/icons/rolleyes.gif" /> <small>[ October 10, 2004, 04:12 PM: Message edited by: Resilient ]</small>

FL: Feel much better. In fact, was in such a good mood today, people asked if I did something special over the weekend, which made me laugh. It is all about contrast, I guess...and WH left today for Canada for another 4 weeks.
You know, I am actually really sad for WH. He is lost, and hurting, and tortured. And unfortuneately, I think it will take him failure and misery before he figures it out. I hope it doesn't happen too late. But, maybe it already is...who knows.

Boy aint that the truth! Aren't you glad you're you and not him! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
All that matters at this time is that YOU are going to be great with a great love. Isn't that exciting? I think it is.
I would much rather be the betrayed than the betrayer, atleast we live in the light.
You are right, how very sad. But apparently he needs to go through this. Ain't a dang thing you can do about it either...he will go through what he needs to go through, and this is how it should be.
(and maybe someday that great love will end up being with him, but he's got a path to walk first, right?)

You are totally right, Weaver. Thanks again, for being such a supportive and encouraging presence on the board! <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="images/icons/grin.gif" />
